'I was with Bill in Little Rock when he had this shouting match with Hillary on the phone and she accused Comey for reviving the investigation into her use of a private email server and reversing her campaign's momentum,' said one of Bill Clinton's closest advisers. 'Bill didn't buy the excuse that Comey would cost Hillary the election,' said the source. 'As far as he was concerned, all the blame belonged to [campaign manager Robby] Mook, [campaign chairman John] Podesta and Hillary because they displayed a tone-deaf attitude about the feeble economy and its impact on millions and millions of working-class voters.

I don't know about the fight but the part about Bill "getting it" is true. I beleive O'Reilly pointed out that in the closing week Bill's speeches included this topic because he astutely read the political winds.
I'm not a fan of Bill but I did find it interesting that he could still look at a campaign objectively at his age and given he's been on the inside now for so long.
Bill won two presidential elections. Hillary lost two presidential elections. Glad she doesn’t listen well.

I think she is physically violent and mentally unstable. I thought this for at least 10 years. I always thought she looked at her husband and obama with thinly veiled contempt.

Interesting. Bill was smart enough to realize he’d seen this movie before. This was how he was able to beat Bush I, who had enjoyed enormous popularity just 18 months before. It’s the economy, stupid!
Bill always was, and remains, and extremely good politician. Whatever else he did or may have done, he’s very good at that one thing - certainly better than his tone-deaf, ideological, control-freak wife.
From what I have read, unlike Hillary, Bill actually likes people.

Bill was/is no fool. He’s a lot more pragmatic than his wife. That’s why his presidency, when all is said and done, was really not that bad. He cooperated with a republican congress and gave us welfare reform.
Yes, we’re a few baby formula factores short and he deffinitly should have gotten Osama.
Ironic that she had one of the only people able to see what was happening but they told him to shut up and sit in the corner. He is a lot of things but politically stupid isn’t one of them. And yet....
Bill’s brilliance was that he could talk to Joe Six Pack like he was their next door neighbor struggling to pay the bills just like everyone in the neighborhood.
Hillary and her ilk pandered to every fringe element of society except for the white working straight heterosexual male. And that is what cost her in the rust belt.
If only he would have used his powers for good rather than evil.

I agree! I think Bill was right and truthfully, he did not seem enthusiastic about a Hillary presidency.
