Still want to move to New Zealand because of Trump, Snowflakes?
Having said that, I pray everyone who does live there is safe.

The quake was centered near Christchurch, but the media refuses to use the name, and refers to it as "a major city".

His name is said to drive out demons, how could anyone ‘perfectly possessed’ say it?

, Speaking of the snowflake celebrities wanting to move to Canada or New Zealand, I wonder why they pick the 2 whitest population countries on earth.
That said, I hope the people are safe.

I’m in Australia. A seismologist in Lower Hutt, NZ was reporting details on TV here about the quake. Said it measured 7.5, and took place between Christchurch and Wellington (epicentre), was offshore, away from heavily populated residential areas, resulting in so far 2 fatalities. One a house built in 1800s.
Originally there were 2 quakes, first one in Kaikoura, which triggered a second one further north. But both N. and S. Islands have been affected.
A friend sent me a text message saying they felt the quake for one whole minute in Auckland, which is 1000 km north from Cheviot.
Aftershocks are minimum 5.0 up to 6.3. In South Island, the seismologist said that they can go on for days if not weeks or months.
Tsunami warning downgraded to coastal beach areas, around 2 to 3 meter waves.

“resulting in so far 2 fatalities.”
What a blessing!

Considering the magnitude, it is a blessing. It was a shallow quake, but had the breadth (wide).
However, 2 fatalities is what they know so far, could be more. Hopefully not.

The chandeliers were trying to get horizontal with the ceilings in the lounge and hallway. You just know the difference between a 5 or 6 and something that’s over a 7. There’s been over 1500 quakes since 12,02am Nov 14, when that 7,5 hit. To compound matters, I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much rain in spring time. We’ve got flooding in many areas. The effort to clear and rebuild roads will take months and billions of dollars. Hillsides have fallen over rail lines and main coastal highways on the South Island’s upper east coast.
Many thanks to the USS Sampson’s Captain and Crew who are assisting the NZ Navy with evacuation efforts.
