U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) is blasting his party’s outgoing Senate leader Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) after Reid released a statement that Manchin says verbally attacked President-Elect Donald Trump. In Reid’s statement, he called Trump a “sexual predator” and suggested Trump to “roll back the tide of hate he unleashed.” On Friday, Manchin responded to Reid’s statement: “Senator Harry Reid’s statement today attacking President-elect Trump is wrong! It is an absolute embarrassment to the Senate as an institution, our Democratic party, and the nation. I want to be very clear, he does not speak for me,” Manchin said in a news release.

Considering that only 25% of West Virginians voted for Clinton, two-faced Manchin has no choice but to pretend like he’s not really a Democrat.

Joe is a moderate in a state that voted for GW BUSH twice and for Trump...my guess he might be thinking of switching...cause the coal miners would be more supportive of him

The only honest Democrat who sticks to his liberal convictions, but isn’t afraid to tell the truth about his own party is Pat Caddell. Joe Manchin is just a political opportunist like Charlie Crist. He puts his finger in the air to see where the political winds are blowing and goes in that direction.

He is up for reelection 2018. He had better play real nice with DJT. In 18 months Trump will be able to go to Charleston, W. Va. and walk across the Kanahwa River.
Who knows, maybe its the same reason Juan McCain keeps on winning
