Alaska Called for Donald Trump
New York Times ^ | 9 November 2016 | The pundit class

Posted on 11/09/2016 6:50:15 AM PST by Vigilanteman

Go to this site, Politico or any of the others featuring presidential maps. They have finally called Alaska for Donald Trump, not that the result was ever in doubt, but it just shows the bile of the media.

Meanwhile, Arizona is still in doubt even with Trump's solid lead. So is Michigan, Minnesota and New Hampshire, with Hillary holding a steady but still narrow lead in only the last two.

And didn't Trump actually win one electoral vote in Maine's 2nd congressional district? Or is that still undecided? Maine is solid Clinton colored.

Does it really kill them that much to admit that Trump is likely to break 300 electoral votes?

The difference between the Electoral College vote and the popular vote is a sign the EC is working exactly as designed. This is something that every Republican should be repeating. The Founding Fathers designed the EC (and Congress) to ensure the most populous states couldn't overwhelm the smaller states. The President-elect must build a coalition of states, rather than simply campaigning for the votes of the most people.

Hear! Hear! Very well said and spot on!

Since Clinton has already conceded, I’m wondering why the eneMedia is still trying to carry her water.

The concession has no legal weight. The only thing that matters is when the electoral college convenes and votes.

Now, the tradition of this country is that the President-elect is given special status, but if they managed to find a group of faithless electors they could possibly pull off a Clinton steal.

Just think, it would not be this close if the GOP and the media and most of society had not conspired against Trump. His own party was against him! Former Presidents of his own party refused to support him! It really is incredible given that, and the last minute fake groping allegations, that Trump managed to win...

Precisely

Large population areas must not dictate to the rest of the country. Our founders understood it perfectly

Civil. War.

And I doubt the Trident subs (ace in the hole) are full of Clinton supporters.

Yep. And I'm enough a man of faith to see God's hand in all of this, as if to say he is giving this blessed land one more chance.

Just the potential of saving the supreme court from the likes of Ginsberg and Sotomayer gives me chills.

It starts with turning them off, boycotting sponsors, and hitting them where it hurts...In the wallet.
Glenn Becks days are definitely numbered, for example.

Arizona:

Total votes: 1,793,000
Precincts reporting: 98%
Possible outstanding votes: 36,500
Trump lead: 77,000

The only reason not to call it: Partisanship

Yes. Another way of putting it is that if we elected president by a direct popular vote, all the campaigning would be done in NYC, Chicago and LA. All campaign platforms would be tailored just to the interests of the big cities. The rest of the country might as well not even exist and nobody would care about the corn farmers in Iowa or the coal miners in West Virginia.

Trump won Maine’s Second Congressional district.

I helped....I voted here.

And it really pi$$es me off to see the entire state of Maine colored blue. The Second Congressional district, the largest in area east of the Mississippi River, covers 80% of Maine. It should be a red area on the leftie media maps.

The lefties are all crowing that Trump doesn’t have a mandate. Three populous, forever gone lefty states California, New York and Illinois gave Hillary huge margins. I think those three states alone combined to give Hillary five million more votes than Trump. That’s why Hillary won the popular vote though I also believe there were millions of votes stolen for the Dems and millions of Republican ballots and electronic votes invalidated and tossed out. If every state used a paper ballot this election wouldn’t of been close. Trump was able to beat the MOF, the margin of fraud.

The election was a repudiation of the MSM... including the fools at the New York Times and CNN.

A revolution happened in the United States and the 'played fools' at the New York Times and CNN missed it. They were 'clueless' about a movement that has changed the political landscape of the United States for decades.

Christ Matthews was the only liberal member of the press that sensed something was happening. He was the only one. Jeremy W. Peters was played - he must be stunned this morning.

THE BIGS at MSNBC MISSED IT. The clueless MSM had no idea what was happening ... because they were played by democrat operatives who fed them THEIR version of 'the news'.

Fools.

Who can trust these idiots now?
