One of the best ways to identify whats going on in any area is a ground report from the people most familiar with it, thats YOU. If you are voting today perhaps you would consider sharing a ground report from your town, city, neighborhood or voting precinct.
Hows the turnout? Any issues or concerns? Whats the overall climate amid your voting locales. Please feel free to share your personal perspectives in the comment section along with any links to any information you feel might be valuable or interesting. ...

Rural Iowa, small town and surrounding farm population about 1000-1200. Area went for Cruz in the primaries.
I voted at about 8 am (site opened at 7 am). The ballot box counter already had 26 votes. While voting, a line started to form at the door.
Regarding yard signs, the homes that had in previous elections had Romney, McCain, and other sings had absolutely no signage this year. The only Trump signs were at properties that did not have signage in previous elections. On Main Street, two GIANT highway size trump signs at two adjacent homes. The ‘Trump’ sign homes are working class/working age people.
The homes that in previous years had Republican signs but don’t this year were the old widow church ladies, etc.
Very odd that aside from the Trump signs, there were no signs for other Republicans (senator, congress, state reps, etc). My guess is that Trump is very popular among independents and the apolitical (folks who in previous years wouldn’t care enough one way or the other to stick a sign in the yard). The widow ladies are probably too embarrassed to publicly support Trump (unlike the cardboard cutouts that the GOPe ran in 2008 and 2012). Hopefully they vote for him at the ballot box.
This area reliably votes (R) every election.
Westchester or Suffolk ?
if you waited 35 mins in Westchester, that’s a yugely good sign
FOX got “burned” this morning doing a diner interview in OH:
[per Bill Mitchell tweets: https://twitter.com/mitchellvii ]
If these FoxNews diners are any indication, it is going to be a BIG day for Trump!
I always thought Columbus OH was a Democrat area. Trump completely dominating in this FoxNews diner piece.
So far in the FoxNews diner vote, it’s easily 20-1 for Trump. Wow.
Trump is so thoroughly dominating the “diner vote” on FoxNews this morning, even I am shocked. Lots of blue collar Dems saying Trump.
If this diner FoxNews is at is an indication, Trump is ROLLING. I think only one person has said Hillary so far and she acted embarrassed.
That crowd must be internet users because the media tries to hide the voter fraud.
The forum, which has been sporadically slow for a few days now, is taking a long time to refresh any page.
Extremely heavy turn out in S. Union Twp
I just voted for Trump along with my mother about an hour ago in NC.
Everything in NC is Trump, Trump, and Trump. I don’t know why that person says NC is going for Clinton.
Westchester
Because large portion of military did not get their ballots
Fairly mundane here in NJ. I voted after my morning run (7AM local time)
There were only 4 people in line ahead of me and there was a steady stream coming and going. While that may not sound significant, it’s noteworthy for two reasons:
1) It was early and,
2) While not a heavy turnout last time, I was the only person in the station at 7AM.
I’m in a GOP bastion where I live, but hopefully this is a good sign.
I live in New Castle County, Delaware (northern Delaware, just outside of Wilmington.) I voted earlier this morning. The polling place was very crowded. Since this area is heavily Democrat (Joe Biden lives about 30 minutes from here) I would not interpret the crowded polling place as a good indicator for our side, however, Delaware was never in play to begin with.
I am VERY HAPPY people are VERY AWARE and ARE PAYING ATTENTION!!! It proves Trump message got out!!!
The exact same thing happened to me when I voted in the primary last April. I told the election worker I was a Republican and noticed when I went to fill ballot out it was Dem. Had to go back to desk to request Republican ballot and then they had to go through the red tape to cancel voter number they gave me and give me a new number and a new ballot. Automatic assumption in Brooklyn you are a Democrat!
If her daddy's rich, take her out for a meal.
South Carolina 8:00 am. From the precinct I can just see the top of Death Valley stadium at Clemson.
20-25 people in line. 70% while males, 30% white females. Middle to late in years.
Saw no black voters and I know it’s an integrated area. Saw black people during the GOP primary.
Drove by several precincts. Some with 100’s of people in line. Mostly male, still haven’t seen a black voter.
Could be the black voters aren’t showing up because Trump is a forgone conclusion in SC, I hope all the black voters voting for Trump make it out and all the voters voting for Hillary stay home on the whole eastern seaboard.
Conservative Treehouse
YEs
Just voted in Baltimore County, MD. Go Trump!
It took about an hour. No Hillary signs, many Trump signs. Only one Democrat sign for Dutch Ruppersberger next to a Dump Dutch sign. :)
Nephew voting at Penn State said they told them it would take about two hours to vote because there was some kind of “error.” Anyone have more info on this?
