The Associated Press is keeping a page of running updates and stories about the election. Below is the latest update since this was posted:
9:20 a.m.
Lines were long in some places, but few voters heading to the polls early Tuesday appeared to be encountering problems.
Presidential elections usually include sporadic voting problems, such as machines not working properly. Calls to Election Protection, a national voter helpline, included people reporting long lines as a result of machine problems in three precincts in Virginia. And election officials at a handful of precincts in Durham County, North Carolina, were using paper roll books after technical issues with computer check-in.
Ahead of the election, there was anxiety over whether voters would face problems. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said the election was rigged and Democrats warned that Republicans were planning to intimidate voters. There were also concerns about hackers disrupting election systems.

"Fairfax Co voter: "Where are all the Democrats?"
Line for R ballots but not a single D in sight.
Late sleepers?"
I’ll take it from here with the Jets.
They were interviewing Don, Jr., not Eric.
Ben Gleck says Florida’s in the bag for Hitlery. I don’t know how he would know that 10 hours before the polls close?
It's the same shit Joke Tapper threw at Conway at SOTU, and she wadded it up and threw it right back in his face.
Eric is a bit of a political naif, as he should be. Too late in the game to make any hay of it, other than whoever #journolist got him to say it will get some backpats.
That is actually shocking to watch.....
Cheating team is located in Broward. The AA spokesperson for Hillary said on FOX news that there has been a huge surge in AA vote in Broward for Hill. They are busy stuffing ballot boxes like mad dogs 24-7.
Hillary’s base isn’t out of bed until noontime.
Campaign signs in or too near a precinct, not beyond campaigning distance?
Lodge complaint with precinct supervisor, get their name, get a photo, get others to lodge complaints.
Oh, so it’s AA’s now, not Hispanics? Hitlery’s going to do better with AA’s than 0bama? Pulease!
Yes, why. Should he lose, we all need to join forces to hit hard against D election fraud and media collusion with D’s. (A bare minimum response, that.)
This is where the Republicans FAIL miserably! They need to STOP giving ground to the Dems in early voting, absentee balloting, voting ALL DAY on Elcetion Day! Enough is enough already! If you aren’t willing to take ONE day off every four years to make sure you’re competitive then what’s the point? By 5pm, rumors are surrounding about who’s ahead and who’s not, a lot people are tired from a full day of work and when they see the long lines at night...how many call it a night and DON’T vote? 1’2’ or 3%? I mean come one!!!
One hour wait this morning at the same time of day as no wait four and eight years ago.
If Trump can’t take down this miserable piece of corruption with all of his resources and dynamism, then the Republic is lost. She can only win through outright fraud by black voters in the big cities and illegals. If she can steal this election the massive influx of Muslims and amnesty for illegals will cause a permanent demographic shift that will make the Dems the permanent ruling party.
My two cents worth, on what we can expect today.
The MSM and the democrat party will do whatever they can to defeat Trump. That includes bogus exit polls as early as possible showing Clinton doing well. They hope to discourage Trump voters from bothering to go and vote. This will work best in states like NV and states open later than eastern states. An entire day of Trump bashing, including a rehash of the 9 women who accused him of sexual assault.
At the polls, in republican districts, machines malfunctioning and fewer machines than assigned arriving at the polling stations. Lawyers intimidating Trump poll workers, trying to remove as many as possible, especially in heavy dem districts. Dem poll workers doing all they can to remove Trump people and make sure the final count from machines is done in private. Hopefully that will happen in rare occasions. In dem districts numerous last minute registrations. Once again we will see some dem precinct where over 100% voted.
As results come in this evening, in swing states early numbers will look good for Trump, but all the heavy dem districts will be held until the very end. This pattern happens every single time. The dems wait to see what number they need and try and get there before sending in results.
The outcome rests in the hands of illegal immigrants. There are easily over 15 million in the country. As we saw in a recent study of 9 counties in VA, 1,046 illegal aliens were registered to vote, primarily by checking a box on the form when they renewed their license. There are 125 other counties in VA, so imagine the numbers state wide. Extrapolate that across the country. What would you do, if you thought a Trump win meant you could be deported, and Obama had told illegals they wouldn’t get caught if they did vote? Of course you are going to try and vote. I would expect at least 5 - 7 million illegals on the voter rolls vote.
I can only see this going one of two ways. There is such a ground swell for Trump he can over come massive voter fraud, or she wins because it was close, but the fraud handed her the victory.
What does America do if it’s clear she stole the election. What they did in 2012.. NOTHING
10:45am, Glen Beck has called NC and Michigan for Clinton. He has some squishy, pollster on and then Glen’s equally irritating side kick says, “then it is over” if he can’t win NC.
Trump will win NC and the nation.
Beck is a commie.
AA runs Broward County elections and the Steal the Vote campaign.

Polls opened here in Indiana at 6am. I’m in a conservative district on the south edge of liberal South Bend. Turnout was very heavy. I arrived at 6:55 and waited 40-minutes in line to vote. Poll worker told me he’s never seen it this heavy - he expected 90% turnout for our precinct.
