WHAT WILL HAPPEN WEDNESDAY MORNING
boblonsberry.com ^ | 11/07/16 | Bob Lonsberry

Posted on 11/07/2016 6:09:55 AM PST by shortstop

Only one thing is certain about Wednesday morning, half of America is going to be pissed off.

Infuriated, alienated, disenfranchised.

If the winner is known, if the presidential race isn't hung up in some court challenge or Russian hack, the only prediction that can be made with any confidence is that this election will leave about 50 percent of the people in this country feeling like this isn't their country.

The divide will be wide and deep.

And the prospects of bridging it are meager.

But first, who's going to win.

It's anybody's guess.

Reasonable arguments can be made for several scenarios. The polls could be right and Hillary will win before the thing leaves the Eastern time zone. The Trump surge in the polls could push put him just past her and he squeaks it out when they close the polls in Nevada. Or there could be a rumbling subterranean tide, a huge surge of enthusiasm for Trump shown at his rallies but not in the miscalculated polling samples, and he could win in a landslide when they tally up Ohio and Michigan.

The range of reasonable outcomes stretches from a Clinton landslide to a Trump landslide, and any number of hanging-chad situations in between.

Both sides hope for victory, both sides are holding their breath.

And one side is going to be kicked in the ass.

And kicked to the curb.

The first responsibility of the president elect will be to reach out and welcome in. The great challenge will be making peace, not with foreign governments, but with American citizens.

And that doesn't seem likely.

Neither candidate seems inclined to graciousness. Neither candidate seems particularly interested in or capable of reaching out to people who disagree. Trump has spoken more of love, and been less specifically condemning of his opponent's supporters, but his brand has been so destroyed among Democrat voters that the only reasonable response they can have is hatred.

And it seems that a great deal of hatred has been shown by Hillary and her supporters for Trump voters. Election Day isn't a magic wand that makes "unredeemable" and "deplorable" go away, and when you have described your opponents as racists, xenophobes, sexists and Islamophobes as a matter of course, victory doesn't make bygones be bygones.

There is a likelihood that either side will see electoral victory as a justification for its own delusions of infallibility. Wednesday won't be brotherhood and understanding, it will be taunting and end-zone celebrations.

And one side will read the outcome as a giant middle finger in the face. The sense of being disregarded, disrespected and disenfranchised will be enormous -- no matter who wins. Recent years, and this campaign, have exacerbated dramatically social division along the lines of race, gender, religion and politics. Even the things that used to unite us -- God and country -- have become flash points of anger, with both being disregarded and dumped by some.

There is a revolution afoot, and one side is going to lose.

And the losing side is apt to be shouted into silence, defined out of the new America.

In times past, that would have troubled the winning side.

But not anymore. On Wednesday morning, half of America is going to be pissed. And, sadly, that is going to thrill the other half.

In recent days, people have been saying, "Won't you be glad when this is over?"

The answer is, "No."

Because when the election is over, that's when it's going to get bad.

Out of the frying pan, and into the fire.

Yep. “Hell hath no fury...” When you have the IRS, the DOJ, the FBI and the rest at your beck and call, there’s almost nothing you won’t try.

If 80% of us vote Trump, then only 20% will be angry on Wednesday morning.

We have to stamp progressivism out of the public school system in grades k through 12 at least at the federal level. The states need to determine their own education.

A strong conservative SCOTUS is also a must and a real two party system. The uniparty must go.

A moratorium on immigration for at least 10 years.

You may not totally stamp progressivism out but it can be suppressed.

In my county in North Florida we have had a 37% turnout of absentee and early voting. The Republican early and absentee voting is 1,000 ahead of Democrats.

I’ve only seen two Hillary signs anywhere in the country. One of these was “Hillary for Prison”.

Even in the Liberal enclave, I haven’t seen very many Hillary signs, but many Trump/Pence signs.

I’m hoping this will offset the voter fraud being instigated in South Florida.

WHEN Trump wins the inner cities will burn...

Yes, there will be rioting for sure. And in most of the Dem-run cities, they will allow it to go on.

I was very depressed when Carter won in ‘76. But t knew it would be over in 4 years. I didn’t think we could survive 4 years of Obama. But we survivo 8. I’m afraid Hillary spells the end. I hurt for the future but glad I won’t be here.

Wednesday Morning: Terrorism - Islamic style - and BLM activism return. Regardless. It’s just that one side will use it for their policy agenda and the other will fight it.

We haven’t even broken even 60% eligible voter turnout since 1968. Have to think a high turnout is good for beating Clinton this cycle. But the bottom line is that folks really into politics on both sides probably overestimate how many agree with them. Otherwise more would vote.

In order for riots to happen, you have to have enthusiasm for the cause. There is no indication there is any enthusiasm for Hillary.

If minority voters are not showing up to vote for Clinton, they not suddenly going to go out and riot for her.

The way I see it is if Trump can pull off a near landslide, about 10% of the population will be disturbed.

40% or so don’t bother to vote. They won’t care one way or the other.

If Trump gets 50% of the vote and Hillary gets 44 or 45%, and the other parties the remainder, you’ll get a landslide in the Electoral College and that’s another 30% of the population that’s not upset with the result. Quite the opposite, they’ll be ecstatic. So far that’s 70% that are just fine with the result.

Of the remaining 30%, most of them don’t have a clue because they rely on the MSM for their news. I’d say as many as 2/3 of them don’t realize Hillary is a blatant crook. They just go along for the ride every four years. That’s another 20% that will be confused, but will just end up wondering why everyone told them that Hillary had it in the bag all along. Maybe they’ll even wise up and start finding more reliable news sources, or at least different ones.

That leave the hard-core 10%, all liberals, all hell-bent on turning the U.S. into the next Venezuela or Cuba. And I want them to be pissed off, so pissed off they move to Canada, in fact. Good riddance. The country will do just fine without them. And I hope the liberal pundits lead the exodus.

1. If Trump wins—the Media, the Democrats, etc... will do all they can to make him a failed President. They will try to make him a laughing stock. He will be the butt of every joke the left TV comics can say on late night. He will be the focus of such movies as “The Assassination of Trump” and “Idiot in the White House.” Think what happened to Sarah Palin—only on steriods. The Violence will conjtinue. A Jet may crash into Trump Tower, signs will be defaced and thye Democrat/RINO/GOPe will work overtime to block anything he does!
2. Hillary wins—the Media will make this one of the most historic times in all history, They will fawn on her and mock Trump and Bush. BUT she will become MORE corrupt and more Imperial. In time she will turn on Obama, the MSM and make a bid for one payer (government health Care) Reparations to blacks, Open Borders, more borrowing of money from China and Saudi Arabia, Anti-Coal, anti-fracking. See Gas priced at $6 a gallon, More taxes on everyone (even the poor will pay) and she will become richer than Soros and Trump combined. The White House will be the center of all Hillary business. A wall will be built—only to keep Americans from escaping! She will never be impreched but become a cause for a restoration of Americanism. In time she will become a patriot—when the BIG WAR hits and she needs America United.

So what? They did the same to Reagan. Didn’t work. Performance actually matters in the end, which is quite encouraging.

Trump wins—new re-lineament of business and government.
Hillary wins-—New WW III War and loss of wealth and land. Look as Alaska goes to Russia, Hawaii and Guam go to Red China. Parts of South Texas to Mexico, Porto Rico to Cuba. And Iran takes Saudi Arabia. It will be a new world order.

Yep, and so did the mass shootings that were started to further their gun control agenda. Once that worked in Trump’s favor..tada no more mass shootings.

Stories that don't feed the PC Left's narrative or that don't serve its political purposes get buried. They may make the local news, but don't expect NYT, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, and these days, even FOX to carry them.

One side circles their horses to protect their own behinds from criminal prosecutions, or the other side saddles up heir horses to fight to regain liberty.

Trump wins—new re-lineament of business and government.

Hillary wins-—New WW III War and loss of wealth and land.

Regardless of who wins the other party will use every trick in the book to block the new presidents agenda in Congress. Gridlock will continue.

Hopefully, half the RATS will be on outbound planes.

If the worse happens, I’ll take up drinking.

I’m taking Wednesday off, so I can stay up late on Tuesday night.

It will be evident by before midnight. If Trump wins both PA and VA, then he’s won. If he wins neither, then he’s lost.

I have a feeling that the sun will rise in the east . The voting public, in it’s infinite wisdom , would have chosen Tuesday whether they preferred a life of slavery or a life of freedom and responsibility. Wednesday will begin the unofficial of that choice. Do not be surprised if they choose the false security of slavery over the responsibility of freedom. In 2008 and 2012 they demanded, via their votes, that a muslim have the rule over them. So them preferring to live as slaves, rather than living free is par for their course.
