I’m going to guess their internal polling suggests Trump won’t win

That’s where his supporters come in posting on Social media (Twitter & Facebook)

Just when I thought the concern trolls on Free Republic couldn't get any worse, I see a post that takes defeatist cuckoldry to even new heights.

Trump switches a rally from Wisconsin to freaking Minnesota - which hasn't gone blue since 1972 - in the final hours of the campaign and that is seen as a BAD sign? You Debbie Downers just don't give up on the misery do you?

BTW, for what it's worth, the WI event is still listed on the Trump schedule. Right after the just added MN event.

Trump has been to Wisconsin a BUNCH of times. Really not worth it with Punk Ryan not being all in, IMO. Better off going to MN for the first time.

It certainly makes a lot of sense....Packers start of 3:25.......I hope he’ll do well in Minnesota. I know the northwestern part of the state is very pro Trump. The part that’s hurt him here are the folks out on Waukesha Couny and guys like Charlie Sykes. He’s been awful. Can’t stand to listen to him any longer.

All you concern trolls make me laugh. Happy to be rid of you all after Trump wins on Tues. Trump up 5 in LA Times polls point to a landslide and there is nothing you probably paid trolls can say to change that.

I suppose I'm a concern troll in your eyes, and I'm okay with that. If Trump wins Wisconsin, he has so many other states that the extra 10 EV won't matter. I'm perfectly okay with him cancelling his visit to Wisconsin even if it was winnable. This is not a state he needs or even the Hillary state to challenge.

My read on this election (and in the past I have known what I was talking about with election polling) is that Trump has a significant lead among voters nationwide and in swing states. My read is also that Hillary has a significant lead among those dead Americans who vote and among those who count the votes in swing states. I am slightly optimistic but also nervous about the epic level of fraud we will see this election. I'll be working get-out-the-vote in Pennsylvania on Election Day, but I recognize that dead people in Philadelphia might dwarf whatever gains we make among the living.

And it’s tiring. Trump cancels a campaign stop in Wisconsin and here comes the “Defeat Squad” segment of FR projecting gloom. If he doesn’t add an extra trip to Pennsylvania or Michigan then they assume those states are gone too. Just chill! I could get rich selling Xanax and Prozac over here. With Donald Trump we can’t project standard conventional wisdom because he defies it. Just vote and be confident that tens of millions of our fellow Americans see things as we do, and it’ll be enough to end the Clinton nightmare.

I would have written Minnesota off a long time ago, but the more I look at it the more I wonder if Trump can pull a major upset there.

Middle-class Democrats are probably up in arms over the flood of Muslim immigrants, and they have a reputation for electing wacky characters there (see Jesse Ventura and Al Franken, for example).

The poll numbers up in that 8th Congressional district have been startling. A couple of weeks ago they showed a 12-point lead for a GOP challenger in a district that has been held by Democrats for something like 54 of the last 56 years. And while that rural district will be overwhelmed by the Twin Cities in a statewide race, there's something about it that really has the Democrats on edge. I read somewhere that they were pouring more money into the MN-8 race than in any other House race in the country.

its speculation without data. The data does not support wasting time in Wisconsin or Minnesota when you have TIE RACE polls in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

I always wonder if the Democrats have their own version of these people.

I did the same thing...looked up Trump’s travel schedule and it was still on there. If so, the state Republican Party is wrong, which is fine by me.

I believe this was cancelled due to conflict with Packer game. Someone told them it’s bad politics in WI to compete with Packers.

Wise. They have MUCH better polling with MI and MN.

Once again, Cruz, Ryan, and Walker could have won this state for Trump. I think it’s the only state where Cruz could have made a difc.

Truth hurts huh. You take a scheduling conflict because it conflicts with the packers game and turn it into oh noes the sky is falling. Typical troll tactic.
