A man who pleaded guilty to puncturing a fire hose being used during the riots in Baltimore last year has been ordered to pay $1 million in restitution.
Twenty-two-year-old Gregory Lee Butler Jr., also known as Greg Baly, was ordered to serve three years of probation and to perform 250 hours of community service. The Baltimore Sun reported that the government sought a 33-month prison sentence.
U.S. District Judge J. Frederick Motz also sentenced Butler to time served on Thursday. Prosecutors say Butler twice punctured a fire hose as firefighters were battling an arson blaze at a CVS drug store on April 27, 2015.

This legal bill may impede his repayment capacity on his student loan.
When you think of the Baltimore riots, the brilliant State’s Attorney charged six cops, and all were cleared. The rioters, on the other hand, are being prosecuted and being found guilty.
There won’t be an appeal: he pled guilty.
No. The taxpayers will foot the bill.

Maryland "Freak State" PING!
How are his football skills? If he can get signed by the NFL, his worries are over! ;)
I was watching along with several other patrons of the corner pub while obama’s son stabbed the fire hose with what looked like a stiletto. Then with smirk still on face got on a bicycle and pedalled away. IIRC, the BFD and BPD watched too.
