Real Estate Mogul and Republican Presidential nominee Donald J Trump has surged to a twelve point lead in Texas over Former Secretary of State and Democrat nominee, Hillary R. Clinton in the latest KTVT CBS 11 Dixie Strategies Poll.
If the presidential election were held today, about 52 percent of likely general election voters said they would vote for Trump while just over 39 percent said they would vote for Clinton. This marks the first time Trump has polled over 50 percent in Texas and casts doubt on any Democratic victory on November 8.

Texas last voted for the democrat in Carter/Ford in 1976
were Carter won by about 130,000 votes.

TX GA was never in play. If obama could not win GA with all the blacks there, then sure as hell Clinton was never going to win.
There were even a couple of freepers trying to say GA was in play too, which makes me curious as to who they really want in this race.

I live in Texas, have friends in the panhandle of Florida. I’d be surprised if Trump wasn’t up just as much in Florida as he is here.

I haven’t seen anything lately in Utah. There’s talk that Egg McMuffin may win there and create a situation where neither Trump or Hillary gets to 270, possibly throwing it to the House.
There was a Utah poll posted in the past day or so...Trump up 9. Hopefully the moves by the Republicans in Utah today to support Trump will insure Eggy won’t give Hillary Utah (Eggy had said some things bad about Republicans)

Contrary to popular belief, if the election is thrown to the House, I expect them to make Hillary president, not Trump. You figure all the Dems (except one or two) will back even an under-indictment Hillary because, well, that’s what Democrats do and the GOP-e will shave off enough NeverTrumpers to give the office to Hillary. Yeah, sad and shocking but that’s how the Stupid Party rolls.
Hope his coattails are long enough to pull the Pubbie judges and DA along with him. Kim Ogg is running non-stop commercials on local TV funded by Soros. Sure don’t need a DA that would push LGTB issues - just got rid of a Mayor that did but like most major cities in Texas it seems to be a Democrat stronghold.
Yeah, a channel in St. Louis, Fox 2, had a map with Texas leaning blue!
FWIW, saw the Fox electoral map had Texas as “lean GOP”. I guess a 12 point lead just isn’t enough for them to move it to “solid GOP”
Of course the fake FNC electoral map still shows Texas “pink” (LEANING Republican)!
