This is a news forum. But I sure am seeing a lot of vanity posts lately.
You know our readers generally frown on vanities (unless exceptional in quality) so if you feel the urge to post yet another run of the mill vanity, please resist it.
Or, in the very least, be sure to submit a donation along with your vanity submission.

Jim, I agree generally. I suggest that you also discourage promiscuous posting of editorials by idiot establishment pundits. They are consistently less informative than a well crafted vanity post from many of our friends here on Free Republic.

A similar thought occurred to me too: charge for vanities.
At any rate, Jim, I hope your admonishment regarding the plethora of garbage vanities being posted here the last few days is taken to heart, as they’ve really been cluttering things up.
Seems like many are hitting on the same themes, which would indicate an organized effort. I’ve noticed trolls have gotten WAY more cautious here, trying to walk a fine line posing as concern trolls or egging people on with BS vanity posts, etc.
