CARL BERNSTEIN: Well, there's no question that the e-mails have always been the greatest threat to her candidacy for president, that her conduct in regard to the e-mails is really indefensible and if there was going to be more information that came out, it was the one thing, as I said on the air last night, actually that could really perhaps affect this election.
We don't know what this means yet except that it's a real bombshell. And it is unthinkable that the Director of the FBI would take this action lightly, that he would put this letter forth to the Congress of the United States saying there is more information out there about classified e-mails and call it to the attention of congress unless it was something requiring serious investigation. So that's where we are...
Is it a certainty that we won't learn before the election? I'm not sure it's a certainty we won't learn before the election.
One thing is, it's possible that Hillary Clinton might want to on her own initiative talk to the FBI and find out what she can, and if she chooses to let the American people know what she thinks or knows is going on. People need to hear from her...

What if Huma had copied classified info that wasn’t previously disclosed to the FBI?
NYC is investigating Weiner, perhaps they took both of their phones and found the evidence.
Whatever she had must have been REALLY serious, or the FBI wouldn’t reopen the investigation this close to the election.
Let’s assume that Huma sent stuff to the Muslim Brotherhood that was classified, making it pure espionage.
This would lead to her indictment and the Beast’s demise.

That's certainly possible though if there's something more significant that previous disclosures there, I wonder if he can count on the FBI not to leak. Then there are NY prosecutors.
Another wildcard, think back to the Rose law firm billing records. Hidden in the closet in the White House living quarters. If Hillary wanted something hidden, but like Nixon available for future personal use, books and such, where would she hide it? Huma would be top of the list. Similarly fearing personal liability, could Huma have kept a digital version of Monica's blue dress? And if significant, it all came out because Anthony couldn't restrain himself from sexting under age teens.

Apoplexy becomes a real possibility
The MSM will counterattack with new polls showing Hillary gaining in the polls!
Just the opposite will happen. This gives all of the major polling organizations who've been heavily skewing their results towards Hillary an excuse to adjust their results to match reality. It's typically the case that pollsters need their final polls to come close to the actual election results to preserve their brands for future elections. But how do they explain a sudden shift from D+9 types of Democratic oversampling to more reasonable levels? Now they can point to Comey reopening the FBI investigation. They'll claim that their polls were correct all along prior to this event, and now when Trump "surges" they'll claim that their polls simply tracked the shift in public sentiment.
