SARASOTA, Fla. - Tim Kaine was supposed to hold a rally in Sarasota tomorrow - but it has been canceled.
According to the Hillary Clinton website , no reason was offered. It states, "This event has been cancelled. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience."
The Democratic vice presidential nominee was originally supposed to continue campaigning in Florida in both Sarasota and Tallahassee tomorrow.
The Sarasota event was supposed to be held at the Municipal Auditorium at 6:15 p.m. The Tallahassee event is still scheduled for 1:45 p.m. at Florida State University.
Lol. And nobody noticed.
fewer than 30 RSVPs?
Kaine will resign. If I’m right I want a Nobel prize. Or maybe I’ll just buy some good beer. Steiner Bock maybe.
Tim who???
Because it doesn’t look good when no one shows up.
Lack of interest.
Great pick, Hellary!
In Sarasota? Granted, I lived in St. Pete way back in the early 90s — but I was under the impression that Sarasota was pretty left wing. No interest, or, as Kaine said, in his weird muppet voice, “My work here... is done...”
Bad optics with too few RSPVs?
Guess all the coKaine followers, can just go to the nearest McDonald’s instead, where their massive numbers won’t even be noticed among the normal lunch crowd.
Ha ha! Good reply!
The Fat Lady is warming up
Wonder if they have a “heads-up” on something?
And all of the people who were going to stay home and not attend are still going to stay home and not attend...but now they will not be missed.
The official Trump beer is now Yuengling.
Why would Kaine resign? If Hillary wins it will only be a temp gig for her.
Nothing but to cancel when only 5 people show up...
Sarasota has banned creepy clowns?
The only way I’d see him resigning is if she “fired” him or forced him to.
It’s quicker to announce the few people in the “crowd” than name those on the stage I guess. Anyway you look at this it is a bad sign for them.
