*But*, Trump has been to MD, several times.

The Baltimore riots, and wrongful prosecutions of police officers, work for Donald.

In 2012, the states that Romney won by the smallest margins were NC (a swing state in any case), Georgia, Missouri, Indiana, SC, Arizona and Mississippi.

If the Clinton campaign were really seeing a landslide, they would be expanding the battleground to those states.

While Dems do have a built-in electoral vote advantage, it’s also true that Dems have to defend a bunch more states with very thin margins than Reps do.

Does anyone understand the weighting they use?

I have a MBA w/national honors and 5 qtrs of Stats (incl 2 qtrs in grad school).

It appears they are trying their best to hide the D/R/I weighting.

Ludicrous, Hillary won’t be anywhere near 50%... She can’t get above low 40s unless Trump supporters all suddenly decided to stay home... These polls are just laughable.

THey want us to believe Trump has lost his lead among independents which he’s had double digits or better all year... and that Hillary is actually leading among men???

Its all garbage... doesn’t pass the smell test, not even close to believable.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing.

I can’t stand listening to Trump bashing, but I took the risk of leaving the sound on Brit Hume (on the record) which I’ve been avoiding.

I was starving so I just wanted to take a few bites of dinner before finding Dobbs or something safe to watch.

Anyway, they were talking about this and he surprised me by saying “in this case it’s to be taken seriously “there’s some “there” there”.

“If I had Trump’s ear I would suggest that He & Pence cut a 2 minute ad in every battleground state”

He needs to get back to focusing on jobs/trade/pocketbook issues (incl health care) for anyone not in the top 0.1%, the Supreme Court, and that a Hillary admin would be a threat to bring about global war with Russia. On the latter issue, even the Green Party candidate has indicated that she prefers Trump to Clinton! Keep it simple and hammer on the issues.

The vote fraud concern is a tricky one. If he’s going to talk about it, he needs to bring up specific examples, such as what happened here in Texas this week.

We need volunteers on the ground at every voting location.

I.personally, would like to see Trump buy a half hour on one of the major networks to run sometime next week.In it he'd calmly spell out Hillary's failures (Benghazi, for example),lies (God,there are so many) and crimes (Clinton Foundation,30,000 emails) but he'd do so in muted tones. He wouldn't use words like "crook" or "prison".

He'd talk about ObamaCare and the fact that BillyBob *himself* recently described it as a disaster. He'd talk about what an unmitigated disaster giving amnesty to 30 million wetbacks would be,particularly for minorities who are here legally. He'd spell out that he,unlike the Clintons,*cannot* be bought.

And he'd talk about other things as well.

The same voters who elected Scott Brown in Massachusetts and who made Brexit happen in Britain will be crawling over broken glass to vote for DJT next month.

Yes! And don’t quote the administrations “25%”. Pick the top five and say, Arizona you are facing 118% increase, California XXX, and so on through the five biggest increases. Screw the 25%, hit the public with the worst cases.

Did you listen to his speech in Florida yesterday? He has been on message. Ok a little intervention here... THE MSM IS NEVER GOING TO SHOW HIM WINNING OR WILL WIN. You have to get that through your thick skulls. There is no magic scandal or meme Trump can spout that will convince the MSM. Like abused kids some of you have to stop waiting for a pat on the head by your abusive MSM parents.

The overall trend on this poll since the end of September had been Trump slightly downward and Hillary slightly upward. The latest result is counter to that trend. Will be interesting to see if this becomes the new trend for both candidates or is just a one day outlier. As some have indicated on this thread, this poll is a bit unpredictable.

OTOH, if the past two weeks are looked at (since 10/11), Hillary’s numbers have flatlined at 44%, except for the past two days. Trump’s numbers have ever so slightly risen during that same time, except for today which shows his largest one day spike in the poll since 9/11-9/12 (post Hillary’s fall).

This poll is Schizophrenic.

I think they purposefully have it change day to day to get “ clicks” as long as the result for the Donald is a good one I’m ok....

2 votes in Fla yesterday for him...

I said yesterday that somehow I just sensed a seismic change in the race. A number of post-tape polls came out good for Trump, the data in FL and OH and NC all is trending big for Trump. I think he probably already has wrapped up TX with early voting.

Philly is a nightmare for the GOP.

That's ironic, because Obamacare premiums are going up 52% next year in the city, and there are only two insurers left in the market. That's a real nightmare.
