Chambers County election officials have executed an emergency protocol to remove all electronic voting machines available during early voting until a software update can be completed to correct problems experienced by straight-ticket voters.
Chambers County Clerk Heather Hawthorne told Breitbart Texas Tuesday morning that all electronic voting was temporarily halted until her office completes a software update on ES&S machines that otherwise omit one race when a straight ticket option is selected for either major party. The Texas 14th Court of Appeals race was reported to be the contest in which voters commonly experienced the glitch.
Hawthorne explained that she expects the technical difficulties to be completely addressed by end of business Tuesday. In the interim, regular paper ballots will be used. The county clerk told Breitbart Texas that before the machines were pulled, poll workers were instructed to alert voters to the glitch and double-check their selections.
Chambers County sits east of Texas largest county, Harris, and serves roughly 26,000 registered voters. Hawthorne noted that since polls opened on Monday, only one voter did not have proper photo identification and was required to complete an affidavit to cast a regular ballot. Breitbart Texas recently reported a similar trend in neighboring Harris County where less than 10 out of more than 67,000 ballots cast lacked ID.
A woman in Texas said her electronic ballot changed to Hillary. Here are numbers to call if you see anything fraud related. Please share these numbers.

Huh. I wonder if, in the zoomed-out view of that artwork, you can see the Claymores surrounding that cabal.
The story that blew my mind was that a person voted electronically for one party but when he looked at the results the other party’s candidate was printed. He tried 2 more times with the same bad results. Then he called on a poll worker, who also tried with the same mistake, the poll worker tried a second time and finally the correct result. So then the question, how many votes were reversed, but the voter never looked to be sure his candidate was printed.
You might find this video amusing, if a little out of date, being from the year after DJT's famous Tic-Tac ad:
As I’ve said before, forward this to the Trump campaign. Get them on it. They have the resources. AND contact the numbers for voter fraud when it happens too.
Who among Judicial Watch, Thomas More Society or even Breitbart went down to Chambers Co. and got a court order to impound that machine? That's what it would take. Then every line of code could be examined.
Meaningless change if the paper ballots are counted by Democrats.
I never vote “straight party” - ever. I deliberately choose candidates in each race. I don’t trust the one-mark-selects-all trap.
I heard that a similar issue in Texas had the election judge getting involved. When they finally got the vote to “take,” they considered it solved, without questioning the integrity of the machine. Insanity.
Systemic flaws. We have mostly VOLUNTEERS working these elections, which happen relatively infrequently, and so no skills or expertise are solidified to any degree. That, and the turnover from new election workers each election is a recipe for incompetence. It's like hiring new employees at your company every week.
One more argument for privatizing elections with PROFESSIONALS, who are audited every step of the way by third parties, and who know their stuff going in.
Paper ballots can at least be recounted; electronic machines, not so much.
True that.
Evoting is banana republic technology.
BTTT
If I remember correctly, it was a Democrat vote being converted to the Republican candidate.
