A few kids make it though a "regular" school with a pretty good education. I went to public schools, but was, for whatever reason, fiercely independent in thought. Had to act up a couple times to get put into advanced classes where I wasn't bored and didn't have to put up with condescending or overbearing teachers.

At any rate, don't look down your nose at your peers who are in schools. Some of them are just as independent-minded as you are.

That oversampling isn't nefarious - campaigns ask for that all the time, to get a more reliable handle on certain segments of the population. What is dishonest is not correcting a top line "reported" poll outcome for the difference between the actual sample (shich often includes a deliberate oversample), and some projected makeup of the voting constituency.

Both sides do deliberate oversamples. It's normal for "inside polls."
