Honestly, I’m beginning to suspect that she made this all up.
It’s just a little too convenient with all the *right* mix of persecuted minorities and the bad guys.
It sounds like she just decided to create the worst nightmare scenario that would care the greatest number of people since they could identify with at least ONE character in her scenario.
Catholic? Check.
Jewish? Check.
Illegal? Check.
Muslim? Check.
Jews, Catholics, Muslims, Atheists, non-believers, believers, Jehovah’s Witnesses; people who are Indian, Spanish, Colombian, Ecuadorian, Russian, African, and Italian? Check, check, check,.....
Poor helpless baby? Check.
Victim girl child? Check.
Concentration camp tattoos? Fear mongering.
Everything sounds better in Spanish? REALLY????

Some things DO sound better in Spanish. If you have never had a woman speak softly into your ear in Spanish you have not really lived.
Well, I guess with a name like met mom you probably would’ve want a woman speaking softly in your ear in ANY language. I’m not sure a guy speaking Spanish softly has the same effect.
