Reminds me of a half Jewish, half Puerto Rican girl I knew in grade school back in the Sixties named Carmen Cohen. Her Latino mother called her Carmen, and her Jewish father called her Cohen.
By the time she was twelve she was so confused she didn't know if she was Carmen or Cohen...
