A terrifying Russian television broadcast explicitly told civilians to find out where their nearest bomb shelter is and repeatedly asked viewers if they were ready for nuclear war.
One apocalyptic broadcast told viewers on Moscow's state-owned TV channel NTV: "If it should one day happen, every one of you should know where the nearest bomb shelter is. It’s best to find out now."

What is going on here?
Aren’t they making a big assumption that Barky would actually retaliate? Of course maybe they are worried about the Frogs and Brits.
I am seeing posts on FaceBook which seem to indicate Putin gave BO 24 hours or Putin’s ships will open fire. I don’t know how true that news is as I am not familiar with the sites this tidbit came from.
Whether or not war is near, Obama is risking war by playing politics. And he’s losing the world, Philippines, Syria, Iraq, Libya. .. The press loves it.
Yeah, well, they don’t trust the current president.
Can’t say as I blame them.
And if Hillary gets elected, then maybe it’s time for US to find the nearest bunkers also.
But I don’t think Putin is so stupid as to start something, especially so close to our election.
He’s pretty politically savvy and while I don’t know who he’s hoping will win, my guess is that it’s NOT going to be Hillary.
I expect that while he may not disagree with Trump on everything, he probably respects him more than any US politician since Reagan.
Open fire on who and where and why?
Question is, if Putin did start something - even small - qui bono? Who would benefit the most, Hillary or Trump? That might be playing in to Putin’s calculus also.

It’s been big news among Russians for a while now.
The problem with him starting something is the suspicion that obama might try to cancel the elections.
I doubt that Putin would take the chance, not knowing how the election will turn out.
It’s really only three weeks away and why wait until the last minute to warn your citizens to find the nearest bunker?
Better to have things well planned out. Avoids panic that way.
Russia’s bunkers were closed long ago and are now full of water and toxic waste
Or maybe Putin has some other reason to create panic. In the US, liberals love to create panic, chaos, and confusion. It plays into their hand and encourages people to look to the government as their savior.
Remember “Never let a crisis go to waste”?
The corollary is “Need a crisis and don’t have one? Then create one.”

Barry and Hillary aided by the media trying to scare voters into electing Hillary by creating fear of war with Russia.
