The State Department’s second-ranking diplomat in Libya on the day that terrorists attacked the U.S. facilities in Benghazi and killed Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods says a key lesson Americans should take from that event is that officials in Washington, D.C. have a responsibility to make sure Americans serving their country abroad have the ability to protect themselves.

I spent many years overseas, military and civilian, and some of those in some rather dicey spots. At no time did I ever doubt that if the balloon went up, Uncle Sam would move heaven and earth to rescue my azz; however, in a place like Teheran or Baghdad rescue would’ve been nigh on to impossible. But I never was left to the tender mercies of a Hillary Clinton guarding my six.
I hate that b*tch and every one of her cohorts, lackeys, sycophants and slime DNC. God rest in peace those four Americans who were forsaken by their American government that they swore to protect and defend.
I have started to think that the Benghazi attack was a planned, coordinated hit on Stevens, orchestrated by Hillary and the Muslim Brotherhood, with the intent of using the “inflammatory video,” which hours earlier had been the trigger for demonstration riots in Brotherhood controlled Cairo, as cover.
The contractors violating orders and attempting to rescue totally messed up what would have been neatly swept under the rug.
So the question is, why did Hillary want Stevens dead?
To quote a great stateswoman, “What possible difference could it make now?”

Security protocols concerning an embassy were not in place by Hillary (as was HER responsibility alone) when choosing the location, the requirement of housing embassy personnel & CIA personnel together was not adhered to, proper security was reduced, and when SHTF - she did not offer any military help.
Hillary is a failure.
Considering the State dept never had an appointed IG during her entire time as SOS allowed for so much negligence and corruption during her time there. Never since the 1950’s has an agency been without an appointed IG, except during Hillary at the State Dept.
One question? Did she establish any other new embassy’s during her time as SOS? Or is she on record as failing at the only embassy she put in place.
And why did it take so many days for the FBI to go in and secure the embassy so they could recover computers and other material related to national securit?

Obama said he had to wait for permission to enter the sovereign nation of Libya. The same sovereignty he did not respect when overthrowing Gaddafi; the same sovereignty he did not respect in Yemen. the same sovereignty he does not respect in Syria, AND the same sovereignty he does not enforce in the United States.
In my opinion, we should have made a rescue attempt in addition to immediately sending in military to secure the areas that were attacked -there is no permission required to defend Americas and American assets.

The fact that the security detail from the Annex went to the State compound in Benghazi and chased ten times their number of terrorists out of that compound and saved five lives is a tribute to that heroism. The fact that seven other personnel in Tripoli volunteered to get on an airplane and fly to Benghazi, not knowing what they would find, when they got to Benghazi is also testament. And because they were in Benghazi at the time of the mortar attack, 30 American lives are still with us today.”
Hicks, who has master’s degrees from the University of Michigan in applied economics and Modern Near Eastern and Northern Africa Studies, served in the State Department from 1991 until he retired this year. In addition to his service in Libya, he also served in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Yemen and Syria.
“I lost a friend in the bombing in Nairobi, and another of my close friends is lucky to be alive today,” Hicks said. “And then I lost more friends in Benghazi. We need to make sure that those sacrifices are remembered going forward.”
