President Barack Obama blamed partisanship for the lingering discontent around his signature health care law, the Affordable Care Act, during his latest pitch on the benefits of the law to millennials at Miami Dade College in Florida. But Obama also admitted that there are problems with the law that need to be addressed, including costly premiums and persistent gaps in coverage.
“Part of the problem is a Democratic President named Barack Obama passed the law,” the president said to cheers. “But just because a lot of the Republican criticism has proven to be false doesn’t mean that there aren’t legitimate concerns.”

Obama compared the Affordable Care Act as it exists today to a “starter home,” saying it was a good first step to reducing the U.S. uninsured rate. Under the law, the Department of Health and Human Services says 20 million people have gained insurance. But millions of people still do not have insurance, and among those who do, many face high out-of-pocket costs when they seek care.
I remember another time when this idiot did a lot of explaining.

Republicans said that it would be expensive and it would suck. Which criticism is wrong?

"Republican criticism" predicted that it would NOT make healthcare more 'affordable', everyone would NOT end up covered, people would loose their existing health care coverage and/or their current doctors, health care would have to be rationed by the government. Which one of these, Mr. President has proven to be false?

In the last 3 1/2 years since I left the Army and got off Tricare, my family’s health insurance premiums have increased from $450 to $1239 per month. In the next couple of months they will probably increase to $1700 to $2000 per month - and that is for a policy with a $5000 deductible.
OBAMA’S LIES - KEEP YOUR PLAN, KEEP YOUR DOCTOR, AND YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS WILL GO DOWN.
He’s screwed up America’s health care and we’re paying more for it than ever before. This ignorant buffoon should have no say in the formation of any laws or policy in our nation.
Obama is either incompetent, evil, or just plain stupid (or a combination of all three).

Why does it need fixing? It was passed with 100% Democrat support it should be perfect. They keep telling us they are the smartest people on earth and their plans are the best.
So these same people that took over and are destroying 1/6 of the U.S. economy by using every underhanded, despicable tactic to get it passed now want us to support them fixing it. Is that about right? FUBO
