LIVE Final Debate in Las Vegas, NV
He’s on now
I come from a family of readers and I desperately yearned to read, when I was bitty. Once I learned how to read, there was no holding me back! I'd read anything and everything and my mother said that it was okay for me to read the books in the house...so I did, besides arm loads of library books. I was reading adult books ( Ruth Benedict's "PATTERN'S OF CULTURE", just before I was 9, because my mother had just read it and it looked interesting )at a young age, but also fairy tales and OLD children's books, which are far better written than the modern stuff.
Do I ever read what I call "popcorn for the brain"? Not as much as I used to, but yes, some. But mostly I read, and have been breading, for much of my adult life, what most might call "serious books"; non-fiction. Hey, if something is interesting to me, I'll read about it. :-)
You're right about "learning"! Yes, it's kind of a compulsion of mine, though not in a "bad" way.
Have you found, as I have, that once you get interested in a topic, it'll lead to other topics that one just HAS TO also learn about?
Once my college days were over, I sighed a sigh of relief, because n ow I could read whatever I wanted to and NOT what was assigned!

Trump - Such a nasty woman
Gosh, if Romney had fought Obama like this during the debates it would have been a 50 state red landslide.”
thanks for posting that; I was wondering what she had said right before that.
Any comparison to the other debates?
That’s good to here. His talk of draining the swamp and rigged stuff is winning messgae...just needs to hammer the change theme of real change and he will win.
Shep on Fox already talking about how horrifying it is that Trump would not agree to accept blindly the election results.
GOOD!
That means Trump was right to have said it. And let an army of rabid Trump poll watchers spring up and horrify them even more.
Pence just said Trump will be elected as POTUS and he will most definitely accept those results! Go Trump/Pence
Uh, is this a clue of a new video......that’s massive if so.
It sounded like on Twitter he was saying they have Huma on tape saying things. I sure hope so. That would be....explosive.
Not sure, but I did see the nose touch signal. God she’s an awful witch
Oh yeah, I’m sure you’re sitting there think you just scored a big one. LOL .
Many people at FR thought Trump was a dangerous choice, the person the MSM wanted, because they knew any of the other GOP nominees would have beaten her like a mule.
The fact that I wanted someone else, has nothing to do with my comments tonight, or my praise of Trump after the second debate. Since Trump won I have been trying to help him as much as possible.
To my point about the MSM promoting Trump and wanting him to win the nomination, I think the emergence of the audio tape of Trump talking a little dirty was held until just before the second debate.
If they wanted him to lose the primary, they release that tape back in Feb and Trump is out of the race.
Another softball Trump let get past him.
I hope he has it in an ad that says she’s moved past giving away secrets in her emails and now she’s started giving them out during the debate.
And so to bed.....
Leni
How convenient, you didn’t post my comments after the second debate, here are two

He did much better. I wish he had a chance to talk about all the corruption at the Clinton Foundation, especially the Haiti mess.

Trump put a lot out there that the public did not know, thanks to the MSM - defending a rapist of a 12 year old girl and laughing about getting her off - the weasel Blumenthal starting the birther issue and working behind the scenes advising on Libya and everything else, the sexual abuse of 4 women who are here tonight...
Hope Clintons history of rape continues to gain traction. That could be the end of her chances.
Those were Churchillian V for Victory signs that Nixon did. The whole "I AM NOT A CROOK" goes back to when he was Ike's VEEP and many pols were accepting BIG TIME gifts and payoffs from lobbyists and corporations. All Nixon had EVER accepted was a puppy named CHECKERS for his girls.
Nixon was not a "bad" president and he WAS an honorable man; a VERY honorable man.
Sadly, you've swallowed, as whole cloth, the BOVINE EXCREMENT that the Commies and lefties/Dems have tarred Mr. Nixon with since he beat Helen Gahagan Douglas for that California Senate seat.

Sounds just like me.
<><>Have you found, as I have, that once you get interested in a topic, it’ll lead to other topics that one just HAS TO also learn about? <><>
Yep, all the time. I start into a topic that grabs my attention, and it leads to something else, usually related, that I have to check out.
I got into Archaeology a while back. That led to Paleontology and Anthropology, which led to Geology. All are inter related. I ended up with books about each, spent about 3 or 4 years trying to find out all I could about them.
Computers...same there, I had an old 486, needed more drive space so I finally found a small drive, none of the new ones would work, the 486 had a 540MB drive limit. Original hard drive crashed, we spent half the night getting it to work again, reinstalled Windows, the whole 9 yards. I decided if I had to work on it again I would not ask any questions. Started picking up books and old computers at resale shops to tinker with. 3 years later I was opening a computer repair shop with someone else, then moved and opened my own, built and repaired them for 15 years.
Got into photography..boy did that turn out to be interesting...I wanted to find out what bird that was...so now I have field guides on birds, flowers, mushrooms, trees, mammals, animals in general, butterflies...just because I wanted to know what I just took a picture of...
It’s crazy...but it is what it is, I just roll with it.
OK folks, it’s time for me to go turn into a pumpkin, see ya later.
Debate replay starting right now, have fun.
“Whats goin on in that pic?”
I snagged it off Drudge. I’m sure someone pieced it together from two separate photos.
(thanks for the compliment, btw :-)
If someone isn’t that active a poster, that isn’t a reflection on their opinion or right to them. If someone posts here more frequently than someone else, that doesn’t make you more your opinions more “informed” than other people. And it certainly doesn’t give you or anyone else the right to attack me or anyone else.
I am spending my time trying to share information with people who are not already aware of what human sewage the Clinton’s are.
Exactly. Just like when Trump wouldn't raise his hand at the first debate about supporting the eventual nominee. He'll turn this to his advantage.
