Gov. Wolf Says Trump’s Voter Fraud Claims Are ‘Dangerous’

PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio 1020 KDKA/AP) – Donald Trump continues to insist that there’s a lot of fraud in the U.S. voting system. Yesterday, Trump lashed out at Republicans who’ve tried to tone him down, calling his own party’s leaders “so naive.”

A study by a Loyola Law School professor found that out of 1 billion votes cast in all American elections between 2000 and 2014, there were only 31 known cases of impersonation fraud.

Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf tells the “KDKA Morning News” that Trump’s claims are “dangerous” and that, “It really could undermine the legitimacy of our system.”

“We have online voter registration. The person registers directly online, there is no transcription error,” Wolf says. “When you go to vote, you have to give your signature and at least in my community, when I go to vote, the signature that they compare it against is upside down so I can’t possibly forge it. If they don’t know who you are when you go into a polling station, you have to show photo ID if you’re voting for the first time.”

Wolf went on to say that it sounds like Trump is already making excuses.

I’m in PA and Wolf would stuff the damn ballot box himself if he could. Horrible governor, horrible human being.

Was at a clients house today. Not sure who they were listening to or interviewing on NPR radio, but they were talking about Trump and the voter fraud.

They are working real hard to discredit him and the statistics he is quoting. But, having been a poll worker here in lovely Cuyahoga county, Ohio...it happens more than anyone thinks. Last time I tried working the polls, reports went unanswered and the Republicans couldn’t even get poll workers credentials on time. No recording devices are allowed, no cellphones, etc. And the questionable votes later counted because, “they couldn’t identify the fraudulent votes.”

Are the claims ‘dangerous?’ ONLY when the ballot box is meaningless.

In the wake of the 2012 presidential race, voting records from the Cuyahoga County Ohio board of elections have revealed that Barack Obama received more than 99 percent of the vote in more than 100 precincts in that county on Election Day. In fact, there were several Cleveland precincts where Mitt Romney received exactly zero votes.

Robert Knight is a senior fellow and executive director at the American Civil Rights Union. He says there were similar anomalies in Philadelphia.

Knight, Robert (ACRU)”According the Philadelphia Enquirer, in 59 different voting precincts there wasn’t a single vote cast for Mitt Romney,” he tells OneNewsNow. “It was 99.9 percent for Barack Obama. That just doesn’t even happen in communist countries. And the same thing happened, apparently, in Cuyahoga County, which is Cleveland, Ohio.”

Horrible governor, horrible human being.

Yeah, the Republican would have to be some sort of a brain-dead stiff to lose to him.

Wait a minute...

Sometimes you can tell someone is a democrat just by looking at them.

If we had GOPers that had fought like Trump in the past, America wouldn’t be in the toilet right now.

Voter fraud itself is not dangerous - just talking about voter fraud is dangerous. Get it?

Exactly - the People can't handle the Truth but they can handle being subjugated by rampant corruption....

Just a second. He said new voters have to show ID. I thought the Supreme Court said they don’t have to?

Why is it the GOP is so reluctant to fight the system? I recall in WA state when Gregoire beat Rossi after a recount they did nothing to contest the recount. (just one of many examples)

OK, point 1. Why should we believe something put out my Loyola Law School?

Two, He is purposefully (or not) leaving out the getting to the polls frauds. Such as Democrats rounding up homeless people, and with the promise of a smoke, asking them to vote Democrat at the

Of course they are dangerous. Someone might look into it and find out he is right.

Committing vote fraud should be more dangerous than talking about it, a-hole.
