I was thinking about this the other day, and while any electric fence charger will work, they’re not designed for this, so we have an opportunity for an entrepreneur to develop an “Electric Sign Protector”.

Since it will require power, of course we should consider making it solar. OK enough consideration, plug ‘er into good old coal-generated AC!

The skunk spray sounds like fun too.

Itching powder?

Or good old poison ivy or poison oak.

I bet some kinds of acids eat through a car’s paint and be difficult to track.

One old-school no-violence idea would be a sod-covered hole loaded with paint in a plastic bag. One false step and the paint bag reduces the risk of an accident, but what a mess.

Solar with a big-azz capacitor would do the trick.
