Recently, Fox News execs declared Megyn Kelly to be the longtime leading cable news network’s “future.”
If so, that future doesn’t appear particularly bright…
As the most recent viewership numbers show, Kelly’s program indicates a decided downward shift from Bill O’Reilly’s lead-in program, and then, even more damning for Kelly, is how the ratings jump back up for the Sean Hannity program, even though Hannity should, given the later time slot, have the smaller audience.
Hannity has made clear his support of Donald Trump, while Kelly has for the past year, taken to filling her one-hour show with anti-Trump guests and rhetoric.
It would appear that stance is now taking a considerable toll on Kelly’s ratings – and Fox’s bottom-line. She is now in second place for her time slot behind MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, a seemingly inconceivable result that has now become reality.

I found out that All In The Family repeats are on Antenna TV at the same time as MeAgain and have been enjoying them!
Kelly’s failure is in recognizing that “she herself” was not the attraction that people tuned in.......it wash how she conducted the interviews....now it’s all about planting herself into the narrative...a huge turn off!
It’s about the majority of the people, audience and viewership.....and if you oppose them or who they want as Pres. you’re going to be tuned out.
She recovered before...but then went right back to being herself center stage...I stopped watching and turn her off now as soon as she’s on.

Something caused her to pick a losing horse and she is riding it into oblivion. I think she was effectively bribed into trying to sink Trump and her show, sandwiched in between O'Reilly and Hannity, is her reward.
I think she lost sight of who her real friends were and betrayed them. I can't remember now which Republican candidate might have been expected to benefit from what she did. That benefit is now worthless and she can count on little help from those who expected a different outcome.
My brother and I came in from outdoor chores and he started channel-surfing and stopped at Megyn. A couple minutes of that - nope. Then about fifteen seconds of Maddow - nope. Found the old 1950’s Popeye and settled on that for while before finding an ARCA race.
I liked All in the Family even though I was young when they played.....It wasn’t til my kids were grown I came upon an episode and could fully understand what was going on....laughed til I cried! Even today i will seek them out on You-tube.....very entertainingly! I did some back ground checks on Edith and was astounded how smart she was in real life...brilliant in fact.!
Since Ailes left, Fox appears to me to have become much more anti-Trump than they were. The nevertrumpers are on every show now.
I’m wondering if this is to spite Ailes, after rumors that he was consulting with Trump privately. I never heard confirmation that he *was — but plenty of speculation.
I’d say there’s a real backlash against Fox’s obvious anti-Trump agenda, as I don’t know anyone who watches any of their programs anymore, other than a snip here or there if that.

it doesn't matter if Kelly loses viewers or Beck loses listeners or savage or Rush or anybody..
it doesn't matter one iota....
keep your eyes on the prize....winning the election...
these other little annoyances are just that...annoying....
I miss Larry King. He was fair and his demeanor was professional in every situation. Much better program.
Megyn may as well pack up her bags and move to CNN or MSNBC.

Not surprising to me. I quit watching her awhile back. I accidentally watched her after the last debate and was disgusted at her ego driven, vitriol towards Trump and any one who spoke positively of him. I vowed to never watch her again. So glad to hear my personal protest has also been the actions of others for the same reason. She can’t leave FOX soon enough.
