More Texans than ever are registered and ready to vote in the upcoming Nov. 8 election. New numbers released today show that a record 15 million Texas voters signed up to cast ballots in the election next month that will determine who the next president is as well as decide officeholders throughout the state, preliminary state estimates show.

????
The largest County in Texas is Brewster County
Houston is in Harris County, Texas
I’ve never voted early before, but am thinking of doing so this time.
Thoughts? Does it matter?
If I do, is my vote counted immediately and locked in, so that it cannot be invalidated or disregarded later?
Or, are the early votes set aside and not tabulated until Election Day?
The reason I ask is, every election in the past, it seems like the media talking heads are “calling” the election before the polls close. Millions of votes aren’t even counted.
Additionally, a lot of commuters get stuck in traffic and then don’t bother to vote, when the election has already been called.
Also, I’ve heard of early absentee votes being set aside, and then not counted in Election Day totals, because somebody decided they “wouldn’t have mattered anyway.”
I want every vote for Trump to count, not just mine.
I’d be absolutely thrilled if those 15 million Texans would come beat a little sense into at least 15 or 20 million Californians so this state might have a chance of turning around.
30%+ mexicans
Did Sheila Jackson Lee work that hard for votes last election? Maybe she is smelling desperation for Dems, the black voters may be not so enthusiastic this time.
Hopefully these numbers are going to turn out in droves to vote against Shrillery. I’d hate to think that this high number is because of the Dems attempt to turn Texas blue.
Sounds like they are going to have to open some additional polling places in Matamoros and Juárez.
Remember 2000? The networks called Florida for Gore before all the nation had finished voting. Two thirds of the nation had not voted yet but how many dispirited Republicans stayed home because it was no use.
I’m thinking population. This is what the elections division told us in training. Who knows, it is pretty big and spread out.
Oh! Okay then. That does make a difference.
I guess since Islamocommie built up a healthy-sized caliphate in West Houston
Texas is a deep red State, stop fretting.
Unless they’re Mexicans. They better look very closely at those registrations.
That’s EXACTLY what I’m talking about.
The media do this every election.
Don’t need Matamoros. Cameron county is Democrat enough. You should see our ballot, many Dems running unopposed. Rio Grande Valley is mostly ignored by the Republican Party.
Re SJL, fortunately we no longer live in the city. Don’t remember hearing a peep out of her during the 2012 election. She does seem to show up whenever cameras are running. Not surprised she is front and center this election being a good Democrat and a female!
Hey now, some of us are just getting back home to Texas from less friendly lands
“In other news, Texas election officials have determined that 4 of the 16 million registered voters are illegal Mexicans and other illegal foreign nationals.”
So, why are they allowing non-citizens to register to vote????????????
And half of them are illegal non-citizens.
