Support for Trump among Black Likely Voters has surged from 9% to 24% in the last ten days.
That’s a rise of 150% over ten days!
If this happens, a lot of swing states are going to go Republican. A lot of electoral votes will go for Trump!

I was going to write a vanity post about Trump and the black vote a couple of days ago, but got distracted. I believe that a bump in black support will be real after the second debate, because he has become a black icon, the Brer Rabbit.
Many cultures have a character type in their literature called a "trickster." In Black American culture, the most prominent character of that type is the Brer Rabbit. A trickster character does not succeed because they are powerful. They have no power at all. They succeed against larger opponents because of their brains and quick wit. In Black literature, the small, powerless Brer Rabbit outwits more powerful animals like Brer Fox and Brer Bear.
This character type is important in black literature, because blacks, from their own experience, identify themselves with the trickster . They had no power coming from Africa and being slaves, in the Jim Crow era, etc. They had to survive with their brains, "tricking" the system.
Trump, for all his money, is running against the rich and powerful. Hillary embodies the establishment, the powerful, the "system". And in the last debate, with five words, Trump became Brer Rabbit, outwitting his larger opponent, and the whole system pitted against him, with his brains and wit.

If you doubt this and think I just wanted to recycle an English literature term paper in a post, do a search on "Thug life because you'd be in jail." YouTube posters have practically adopted him as an honorary black man for speaking truth to power.
Obama listens to JayZ, so what Trump said 11 years ago is Bugs Bunny by comparison. So yeah, maybe Team Hil bringing this out is having unintended consequences. Maybe people are instintively hungry for male leadership, not having grown up with much.
That’s what Hillary didn’t see coming. They’re ALL disappointed in Obama, now they’re EXPECTED to vote for some old white establishment woman?? ...from a failed “Hope and Change” to “I’m with her”?? Or is it “Forward”??? I just realized I wasn’t sure.
So I went to her campaign web site - the first page REQUIRES you to enter your email and zip code before continuing to see any content!! How stupid can you be?? Do they really expect people to provide this information just to see what she’s about?
Anyhow...I bet many will switch to Trump and many more will just not vote. It may depend on how many the Dems can bus around and vote multiple times.
Trump will do a good job for Blacks, and I think he’ll act like a Dutch Uncle, a person who tells it like it is and will help them come out of this enabled self-destructive nightmare they’ve been in.
I have high hopes concerning this.
Same folks who have fantasies of a substantial black vote for Trump also got a woody over the prospect of Colon Powell or Condom Rice as Pubbie presidential candidates.
As is often said of the Palestinians, blacks never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity.
Get an email list of undecided black voters and send out coupons for free Ripple on Nov 7 to suppress black turnout. Hangovers would produce better results than whitey dreams of a wave of rational thought descending on the ‘hood.

I think the support has been there for trump but the poles are being manipulated big time this year. the pollsters are now adjusting there poles so that they are close to reality so the poling companies can say they had it right. I suspect that the poles have been really off and that the numbers have gone down as far as trump support but the support has always been under reported in the polling so now rather then showing a down turn we are going to see the numbers rise in the poles the closer we get to the election day.
I agree. There is truth to what you say so Trump has a lot going for him among blacks and frankly, Latinos too. And Hillary is such a cold fish. I think it scares so many people because you don’t know what’s behind the coldness.
Agreed. There is no way Trump’s black support, all of a sudden, went from 9% - 24%. These polls are a mess. The good news is that there are still a lot of undecideds. The final debate will be key. I hope Trump reminds these minority groups how Hillary really sees them, and uses their won words to bury them. If he does, he will get the big MO back.

They are learning about the Juanita Broaddrick story is legit from the massive number of blacks that volunteered for Obama way back in 2008... I AM TELLING YOU, everyone who volunteered for Obama in 2008 knows about this story.
As I see it, as an Old S-3, this DC UniParty has been around for a long time. The RATS and the GOPe have had an agreement. The GOPe allows the RATS to keep the blacks on their plantation and the GOPe gets a nominal group of white voters in flyover country and a minor slice of the loot and power. The RATS get to drive the bus.
I’d be shocked if Trump got 10% of the black vote. I have a business of which 40% of my customers are black. I am seeing no love at all for Trump. Still a lot of typical trash talk about him as if he was any other republican.
Flip side is I am seeing no real enthusiasm for the witch either. If black turnout drops from almost 70% for In 08 and 12 down to 60%, Trump will have a shot in Pennsylvania, and almost guaranteed to win Florida and Ohio.
I always wonder how blacks feel about homosexuals equating their perverted “struggle” with the actual historical black issues?
How many were thrilled about having the whole “gays/gay marriage acceptance” being forced upon them?

I agree. I believe the majority of these so-called polls are intended to shape and shift opinions. They are little more than propaganda. The real polls, when the polling companies put their reputations on the line, and plan on referencing after the election, are done the weekend before the vote. The polls right now are primarily chaff.
Actually closer to a 2 vote swing for every black voter for Trump - assuming they would have voted for Obama in 2012.
