GRAND JUNCTION, Colo.(KJCT) It’s a campaign that's dividing a nation, but now it may be dividing a local party.
“It’s worse than that they’re useless. They’re actually trying to sabotage Donald Trump from getting elected,” said Matt Patterson who’s pioneering the Mesa County Deplorables.
Patterson, a former employee for the Republican Party, says the Mesa County Deplorables is a volunteer group with one goal.
"Make sure Donald Trump get as many votes as he can here in Western Colorado,” said Patterson.

I would like to see the Mesa County Republican Party repealed and replaced, and this could conceivably be the start of something; but it remains to be seen if the high level of public disgust with the system results in change or just tuning out.
I’d be interested to know what happens. Unless something’s done to clean house the Republican Party is going the way of the Whigs.

The Deplorables sound like a sub-party, like the Tea Party intended to be.

This may be the first election in decades for America to go to the polls MAD and WON’T TAKE IT ANY MORE. The mud fight between Donald and Hillary has been very illustrative. No, Donald is not a perfect saint. No, Donald does not need to be, not to be a very viable alternative choice to the wicked witch of America.
I have started carry a sign in front of the local Republican Party HQ saying “Trump YES! Republicans NEVER Again” Please consider doing the same until they come around. The quislings here don’t even list Trump as A CANDIDATE on their website!!

What Trump has done is the political equivalent of a hostile corporate takeover in the GOP.

Well, if Trump squeaks it out (he still could, or might even have a last minute avalanche of indies) then a lot of GOP people would be wise to use their golden parachutes, so to speak. Donald will not tolerate them hanging around to be poison pills.

At one time, I really thought and hoped, that the Tea Party would eventually replace the republican party. Not so much so much any more. There are some very powerful and liberal people running the republican party.
I’m going to go ahead and hope this new movement in Colorado is the start of something big.
I like his style, wearing the deplorable label. Here’s hoping we don’t have to make an entirely new party, just bring the Republican one back to sensibility.
