My mom was wondering why nobody noticed anything and why the woman waited so long to move. I haven’t heard the whole story yet, so I don’t know the time frame. But if a stranger makes an obvious move, most women would probably say stop it loudly and get assistance from the flight steward immediately.

I have flown over 7,000,000 miles around th world during my career, in the aviation businss. There are only three places you could ever grope or have sex with a woman on a commercial aircraft, the cockpit with the door locked and closed, the bathrooms, with the door locked and closed, and, possibly in the “economy” section, late at night, with all the interior lights out, where the seat armrests can be pulled up, & you can cover yourselves with blankets. In all those cases, the woman must be in full consent with and work with her mate!!! Trump groping stories....pure hogwash!!! No adjustable arm rests. it’s like a comfortable recliner. they dont have movable arm rests.
I am sure this kind of thing happens all the time in first class. Back in coach, I never saw two strangers engaging in and form of unwanted sexual assault.
I fly Delta first class whenever I can and there is kind of a table between the seats. No armrest.
The first time I flew first class was in 1988. I was embarrassed because I couldn’t find the tray and as I recall, it came up from the center of the two seats and pivoted over across your lap for dining. I think it doubled as an arm rest. When the flight attendant asked me if I would like the Chateaubriand, I responded, “I don’t care for wine.” So don’t pay a lot of attention to me......
