Trump rips Paul Ryan, says 'shackles have been taken off me'
The Washington Times ^ | Tuesday, October 11, 2016 | Seth McLaughlin

Posted on 10/11/2016 7:56:11 PM PDT by Jyotishi

Donald Trump unleashed the fury of his Twitter account on his GOP critics Tuesday, accusing them of being fair-weather backers and insisting that he's better off without their "shackles," and he can now run the kind of campaign he wants.

At first glance, though, the new Mr. Trump looked a lot like the old Mr. Trump -- with House Speaker Paul D. Ryan and Sen. John McCain targeted...

"Disloyal R's are far more difficult than Crooked Hillary," he said in another tweet. "They come at you from all sides. They don't know how to win -- I will teach them!"

Even as Mr. Trump was blasting fellow Republicans, his campaign was trying to shift the focus to Mrs. Clinton. It seized on revelations in emails from Hillary Clinton's time at the State Department that appear to show her aides giving Clinton Foundation friends special access, particularly during clean-up efforts in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.

Mr. Trump did tweet about that, but saved most of his attention for his party's elected leaders.

Before the sun rose Tuesday, Mr. Trump went on the attack against Mr. Ryan. He went on to describe Mr. John McCain as a "very foul mouthed" turncoat and capped the day blasting the entire lot of Republicans that have deserted him less than 30 days out from the election.

On Twitter and then during an appearance on "The O'Reily Factor," he ripped  Mr. Ryan, calling the Wisconsin Republican a "very weak and ineffective leader" and accusing him of supporting "amnesty" for illegal immigrants and "bad budgets."

Mr. Trump said he no longer wanted Mr. Ryan's support and suggested Mr. Ryan might not be speaker of the House if he wins The White House.

“Trump needs to get back on point. Right now the dims are enemy #1.

Shillary has to be defeated first.

Then rinos can be dealt with.”

I disagree. What we’re seeing is the Yuna party, the DC cartel trying to take out Trump and he has to fight both at the same time.

"From now on, I will only vote for a true patriot."

How about forming a True Patriot Party (TPP)?

Many of us were screaming that over a decade ago -- in the era of Frist and Lott and when GW Bush made some sharp left turns early in his 2nd term.

I am surprised at the surprise that there are turncoats in the Republican establishment. What better way to have control than to infiltrate the opposition party? You can tell who many of them are by what they do and the legislation they fight or support. What better way to control the opposition than to run both a Democrat and a planted 'Republican' candidate for the same position?

If I lived in Arizona or Wisconsin I’d vote for the democrat. Replacing McCain and Ryan with a democrat is like replacing a bucket of spit with a bucket of piss.

I said 12 years ago we needed to start a new party. If Palin had started a new party as last as 2009 it would have some power by now.

You are absolutely correct. I believe that the reason the republicans are trying to stop Trump is cause they are afraid light will be shed on their treasonous activities. With Clinton they know they will be safe from scrutiny.

Parties may have been an ok idea when all sides had Americas greatness as their sole goal, but without that parties are just a way to keep the power relegated to the chosen few.

“the DC cartel trying to take out Trump and he has to fight both at the same time.”

He needs to beat the Beast first...there will be plenty of time to run these hacks out of DC. This is not the primary anymore .... the voters he needs could care less about this.

Right now the dems are enemy #1

NO THEY AREN'T. Trump has the issues US citizens care about, and hillary has made things worse with every one of them. After having to constantly battle "our side" and the media through the primaries, he won and impressively so. Then, at the RNC, he had to stave off the first coup attempt. Now, he has to beat back this second coup attempt and DESTROY every 'pub who has gone along with it. He will impress undecideds and some dems that he fights to win, get a large percentage of their votes, and win without unifying with (appeasing) the culprits. Then, when he gets to DC he can build a coalition, hopefully a new party, that doesn't need the DC sewage.

I despise Ryan far more than any far-left Liberal politician.
At least they are the opposition.
Ryan is a weasel-like turncoat who delights in fragging Republicans.

Ryan should be thrown out of the party...now!

If they throw him out, I’d come back, just because they showed some balls.

When Obama took office in 2008, Arkansas had 3 Democrat and 1 Republican Representatives, 2 Democrat Senators, and a Democrat governor.

Just 6 years later, Arkansas has 4 Republican Representatives, 2 Republican Senators, and a Republican governor.

It can be done. It takes a while.

Of course, some of the currently elected Republicans are of the so-so variety, so they probably need to be replaced eventually.

“Then rinos can be dealt with.”

I used to believe that but no longer do. The RINOs are enemy number one. They must be dealt with first. Romney, Ryan, McCain, etc. are the first wave. They have declared war on us. We can’t win the election by ignoring their assault.

“What the F is this guy doing?”

He’s doing exactly the right thing. He’s attacking not only Hillary but also those that are actively working to increase HIllary’s chances of being elected, including the supposedly Republican Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan.

He is teaching young Ryan that if he’s going to strike the King, he’d better kill the King, because otherwise the King will see to it that he will no longer be Speaker of the House. I hope the other weak-kneed or traitorous Republicans are paying attention.

For sure grass-roots Republican voters are paying attention, and they support Trump over Ryan by at least a ten to one margin. This was a battle that Ryan never had a chance to win, and if he wasn’t smart enough to figure that out, then that’s his problem and his problem alone. The country and the Republican party will be much better off without him as Speaker.

Maybe Ryan shouldn’t have listened to Mittens, who has nothing to lose by sticking to his “kill Trump even though it would elect Hillary” guns. He’s already trashed his reputation and place in history. Probably 90% of people on this forum voted for him in 2012. How many of them would vote for him today, even for dogcatcher?

Meanwhile, Trump has plenty of time to attack Hillary directly. He’s doing 9 rallies this week alone. He’s constantly being interviewed on TV and radio. He still has one more debate left. No doubt his campaign staff are finding new ammunition for him every hour as they go through the Wikileaks documents.

Trump is very much on the path to victory on November 8th. And the fact that he will owe absolutely nothing to Paul Ryan and other GOPe RINOs will make it that much sweeter.

I am a precinct committeeman for the Republican party in my area. I am and have been a Trump supporter from early on.
What I have seen from the local Republican party leadership (establishment types) from the congressman, the county chairman etc. has so disgusted me with their lack of support for Trump, that I will no longer serve as a committeeman if he is not elected. In fact, both my wife and I will move to the Independent ranks.

You cannot allow an enemy to remain inside your camp, they outed themselves as enemy#1 and they must be eliminated... fortunately this doesn’t involve knives or clubs but only words to distance the traitors. He can run against both in the same sentence as they are one and the same... The people demand a return to founding principals and by God Trump will (at the very least) lay that foundation.

What better way to have control than to infiltrate the opposition party?

To benefit from conflict, you have to manage it. To manage it, you have to control both sides.

They're corrupt, not stupid.

(I may have to revise the second part of that statement, though.)
