Wilkes-Barre (United States) (AFP) - Lewd remarks about groping women? It's locker-room banter. Accusing former US president Bill Clinton of sexual abuse? He had to. Left for dust in the polls? Pollsters lie.
Donald Trump's supporters appear oblivious to the gravity of his latest scandals and hemorrhaging support among lawmakers from his Republican Party, as passionate as ever about electing the real estate billionaire to the White House.
Trump may be repelling undecided voters, but if the Grand Old Party has all-but renounced hope of victory on November 8, there is little sign the former reality TV star's loyalists are abandoning him.
"Trump! Trump!" chanted a crowd performing Mexican waves waiting at the Republican nominee's first evening rally since the latest scandal broke.
They took over an arena in the former coal-mining town of Wilkes-Barre, run by a Democratic mayor in the swing state of Pennsylvania.
Clinton is 9.4 points ahead in the state, according to a RealClearPolitics poll average. "I may be limping across that finish line, but we're going to get across," a rueful Trump said on Monday.
Perhaps sensing their man needs them now more than ever, loyalists gave him a rock-star welcome,

- Awestruck -
His appeal as a political outsider, his promise to bring back jobs, end illegal immigration and defiance of political correctness have galvanized millions of Americans fed up with career politicians.--------Trump will prevail!
Maybe because people are tired of the so-called double standards?
I don’t think there are enough of them. They shouldn’t be allowed to vote.
“oblivious to”
...implying ignorance. The body of the article suggests that they are quite informed, but unimpressed.
Or maybe because we’ve all been inundated with the sleeze and sexuality forced on us in movies, TV, rap, celebrities, with ever-increasing one-upsmanship.
It is my opinion that this race has already been decided. There are really very few truly “undecided” voters out there, and nobody is going to change their minds. The variables are how many people will actually vote, and who will count them?
That title should Read.... Clinton’s female supporters oblivious to rape scandals from past!
This mother ####ing hit piece.
TRUMP SHOULD NEVER concede this election, because it is a politburo election and a FARCE with Tass working for the dems.
I HOPE Trump wins outright but if he stays defiant in a challenge, I’ll back him up right to the mother ####ing end!!
A list of the disasters Hillary’s supporters are oblivious to would fill several pages.
Rapist supporters say what?
I sense a double standard and frankly, I am getting very, very tired of it. Back bitting and back stabbing is so very wrong regardless of gender.
Just following the example feminists and Democrats from the 90s who insisted that sleaze was irrelevant when it comes to supporting a president. I have no doubt those same feminists and Democrats will gladly put on their “presidential kneepads” again if Bill & Hillary get back in the white house.
Anyone who seriously cares about sleaze would be saying that Hillary cannot become president. That may or may not extend to Trump depending on how they define sleaze. But, if Hillary isn’t disqualified first they cannot honestly disqualify Trump.
Never mind the Luntz Focus Group of undecided voters broke heavily for Trump following the debate. The MSM narrative is all that matters.
My furry at the MSM goes to 11.
adjective
A brief straw poll put Trump / Hillary! at about 50/50 amongst the group. But, I had a few interesting takeaways:
- People who were against a candidate, never would have voted for them to begin with. Period. Take me, for instance. Hillary! could come by, put me on her payroll at a million bucks annually, and personally give me a daily foot rub and wash my car.....and she'd still not get my vote. Takeaway? There's not many "undecided", regardless of what the MSM thinks.
- Women fell into two categories, those who were voting for Trump (for various reasons), and those who were voting for Hillary because she has female parts. No other qualifications need apply, and Trump shouldn't bother chasing after them. They won't change their minds.
- This was the most telling. A couple of the most liberal people were having a conversation. Approximately, "If the Republicans would just nominate the right person...someone like Kasich or Bush....we'd consider them". Sez me, if that's not proof positive that Trump was likely the right primary choice, I dunno what is.
FWIW. I thought that it was interesting.
TRUMP is down 9 in PA?!!!
...femenists should be proud of these 'roll models'.
Hillary can’t break 50% of the women’s vote, and that’s why 80% or so support from black women. They have to unload on him.
