NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Governor Bill Haslam has released a statement calling for Donald Trump to step aside and let Governor Mike Pence take the lead as the Republican partys nominee.

“When I said he needed to look after Tennessee, I meant that toward Haslam, not FReeper Williams.”
Gotcha, bud. Thanks for clearing it up. Hope you get a better Governor on the next go round.
It’s done...:o)
And Howdy, “half” Tennessean....
Is the Governor really that much in favor of Hillary Clintons liberal Supreme Court appointments?
I wonder if the Governor's constituents agree with his position?
Do you agree with the Governor?
“Its done...:o)”
Alright, bro. Looking good!
Thanks for the half-kin welcome :-)
You’re quite welcome...
I’m glad we straightened all that out...I’ve read a lot of your posts since I’ve been here and I think we see quite a lot alike...
Have a good ‘un....
Why didn’t our esteemed Governor not step down when his family business, which he is part of, was caught stealing from their trucking customers!
11 years ago Bubba was flying back and forth to orgy island.
Haslam is part of the TN Loathsome Threesome, along with Alexander and Corker. They’re all worthless pantywaists, with Haslam being the worst of the lot.
Never heard of this PUSSY until now.
He should have kept his MOUTH SHUT!
Who?
And who cares?
Did I make myself clear? If not, STFU, Haslam
If their intention is to damage Trump so that Clinton can win, that would mean they must think he's going to win as things stand now. I'm not sure they would be that certain of it.
I didn’t vote for this Country Club lefty buffoon, neither in the primary, nor in the general - either in 2010 or 2014. If the Democrat Party wasn’t dead in TN, he’d have been more comfortable serving as one.
I am very disappointed in our governor, but not surprised. We just moved here in 2015, so I can’t be blamed for this guy.
Our Lt Governor seems to make sense, though.
I agree with that.
I understand there is tremendous tension in the teaching profession over the curriculum with quite a few retirements linked to it.
But the astroturf conservative opposition to it is not going to stop the curriculum, that’s for sure.
Big Business and Big Government come together in promotion of public education and the Uniparty Corporatist politicians worship at the altar of funding education in the end and if the legislators come under public pressure the judiciary rules that states must spend “x” amount of dollars on public education.
Perhaps stories like yours should fuel a “Go Galt” approach to education in protest from legislative bodies.....
And it does not take a genius to figure out where the real cash goes. You will never get your money in cash.
Problem in TN is 2 conservatives run against a RINO, the low polling conservative won’t back down or pull out, so he splits the vote and the RINO wins every time. That is what happened with Halsam, Ramsey should have won, except the third losing in the polls guy would not pull out.
