Trump's defiance came as his own running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, said he was "offended" by Trump's remarks and canceled plans to represent him at a political event on Saturday.

First I've heard of this. Is it true? Or did the reporter inadvertently (or deliberately) screw up by saying Pence instead of Ryan?

I can't imagine that Pence would have done this.

Asses at CNN misreporting. Pence is the one who pulled his support from the Ryan campaign event.

Appears to be accurate.

However...any events at this very point in time would actually be a distraction with reporters shoving microphones in people’s faces asking them to defend Trump’s remarks, how can you still support him, etc.

Not exactly correct. Yes. Mike said he was offended, but I think the cancellation of plans was to NOT look like he is a friend of Paul Ryan in WI. Ryan is a backstabbing, Hillary butt kisser.

We are seeing the devil trying to divide our support, trying to create a wedge between Trump and Pence. This is Satan, the Accuser at work.

Pence didn't have a choice but to say he was "offended". They have Trump's comments on tape. But there's no evidence that the cancellation was done out of protest over the comments. In fact, I seriously doubt it was. They probably just wanted time to discuss among themselves how to respond to the situation. As if, Hillary, with her physically abusive, sex offender husband, plus her complicit victim bashing, doesn't or shouldn't present her with a much more serious situation.

IF Pence said this, he should drop. Trump is the nominee. Period.
