ACCRA (Ghana) — Ghana’s government said Wednesday (Oct 5) that it wants to relocate a statue of Mahatma Gandhi off of a university campus after professors launched a petition claiming he was racist.

It was supposed to honour his resistance to racism in South Africa, but a new statue of Mahatma Gandhi in Johannesburg has triggered a row over his alleged contempt for black people.
The 2.5 metre high (8ft) bronze statue depicting Gandhi as a dashing young human rights lawyer has been welcomed by Nelson Mandela, among others, for recognising the Indian who launched the fight against white minority rule at the turn of the last century.
But critics have attacked the gesture for overlooking racist statements attributed to Gandhi, which suggest he viewed black people as lazy savages who were barely human.

Indians aren’t fond of Africans and blacks and I am not sure the feeling isn’t mutual.
In fact, Indians imitate whites a lot. You should see Bollywood. It is more pro white than Hollywood. Even the most crappy acting but fair skinned actress get more publicity and adoration. Used to be skin bleaching, which is popular in India, but now they simply import Eastern Europeans.
Gandhi thought Hitler was the greatest. He called him “My Friend” and on one occasion he told Jews that 250,000 of them should commit suicide in protest of Hitler’s policy towards Jews. The only thing Gandhi gave India of any importance was an insistence on self-reliance. His nonviolence theories were beyond childishly naive - they were dangerous to millions. And he was very much a racist against blacks and a sexist against women. In fact he denied his own wife an operation because it would go against her karma, and as a result she died. But when he needed an operation, he got one - twice. Nevertheless, he did give national respect to millions of Indians who profoundly needed to be reminded they weren’t just slaves or workers to the Brits. National identity and pride is no small thing - after all, that’s exactly what the Left is targeting in America.

Gandhi was tame compared to modern black racists and BLM.
His description was accurate when you look at modern ghetto’s in Western Nations.
I met an Indian whose father was an army brigadier. He had anticolonialist attitude to the max since this was back in the 1970’s. America was racist, blah blah blah, but all he wanted was to stay here. Absolutely floored me one day when he boasted,
“We may be dark skinned but our hair is straight!!”
I didn’t mean in terms of inherent (unchangable) ability or worth; I meant in terms of current behavior commonly exhibited. Blacks on a broader level, both here and in their own countries in Africa, need to start behaving.
Yea, even other races who Democrats try to lump in with “people of color” note the behavior of feral Chicago youth.
Ask a large portion of Indians today and they will tell you they wished the Brits were still running the show. Brits left and it turned into a 3rd world sh!!hole
