A CNN poll comprised of 472 registered voters believes Gov. Mike Pence won last night’s vice presidential debate.
A no-brainer, really.
Sen. Tim Kaine was disrespectful, erratic and rehearsed compared to the calm, eloquent and poised Pence.
What’s crazy though, is that the poll consisted of more Democrats than Republicans.
41% of people identified as Democrats, to 30% Republican.
Think about that.

Interviews with 472 registered voters who watched the vice presidential debate conducted by telephone (landline and cell) by ORC International on October 4, 2016. The margin of sampling error for results based on the total sample is plus or minus 4.5 percentage points.Survey respondents were first interviewed as part of a random national sample conducted September 28 – October 2, 2016.
In those interviews, respondents indicated they planned to watch tonight’s debate and were willing to be re-interviewed after the debate.
30% of the respondents who participated in tonight’s survey identified themselves as Republicans, 41% identified themselves as Democrats, and 29% identified themselves as Independents.

Yes, he was an excellent choice for Trump's VP.

By the same token, one may conclude that Trump's choice of Pence also reflected the heart, mind and judgment of the other Presidential candidate.
Voters will decide in November whose judgment believe they can best rely upon, based on what they saw and heard last night.

I have spent a bit of time watching and reading on his remarks over the years and what I don’t understand is they are on the mark and well delivered, much more so than his style the past year. Where is that Trump today!

83-17 for Pence and Mediaite is no conservative hangout.I understand that 30-40 million people watched the debate. I am one who thinks that in the right year a VP debate CAN make a difference and this is one of those years. Pence did himself and Trump much good last night and wouldn’t be surprised if it does move the needle a few points.
I wonder did Pence ever “look him right in the eye”? This phrase got missed by a lot of people last night. Kaine was always saying taxes and right in the eye. I was waiting for him to say and then “bam! straight to the moon”!

Russia agreed to provide military training for three leftist regimes in Latin America and increase military visits and exercises following a visit last week to the region by Moscow's Defense Minister Sergei Shoygu, Pentagon officials said.
Shoygu met with defense and military leaders in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua and signed several agreements on warship visits and military training during the visit, which ran from Feb. 11 to 14. It is not clear whether any new arms deals were completed during the visit.
Defense officials said the Russian leader is seeking bases in the region for strategic bomber flights that Shoygu recently promised would include flights over the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean.

I had mentioned on a different thread several days ago to Psalm 144 that he (Psalm 144) sometimes sounds queer. That is why I supplied him with the story about his hero lifting up a little Russian boy's shirt and kissing him on his bare stomach. I thought it might cheer him up after last night's VP debate, in which Pence came down hard on KGB/FSB Putin, and his evil ambitions.
