Fort Wayne Police Department spokesperson Michael Joyner said a white colored suv pulled up alongside of the clown. A man was driving. Joyner said the man got out of the car and fired several shots. The man then got back in the suv and headed north on Plaza.
This isnt the first shooting thats happened on this street, neighbor Joe Wright said. They happen often down the street.
Joyner said he doesnt know why people are dressing as clowns, but he said he suspects fear is a factor across the city.
I just think its crazy. People better take those clown mask off
before the coroner does, Wright said.

Not a cop? Who would a Police Department spokesperson work for? The water department?
#CLOWNLIVESMATTER............
I think we’ll see and end of the scary cloud epidemic real soon.
Whole thing is a hoax.
All right! Well played!
You'd be a hit at a Halloween party. What about ball caps, dark glasses, makeup, wigs etc?

“I suggest YOU take your badge off because you are a moron justifying a senseless attempted murder!”
Whole thing is a joke, but even in your understanding of the hoax you got it wrong.
The supposed person who said this was the neighbor, not the cop.
With all due respect, if that was so a lot of mosques and the UN building would be in flames.
Add to that list grown me who prounce around outside in speedos.

Why do I think some may not now show up for work?
I misread the article about who was making the statement, but that does not change my opinion. By the way, my credit union has a sign on the entrance politely requesting removal of sunglasses, and hats/caps. I’m not alone, I guess. While I did consider adult participation during Halloween, I came down more on the importance of protests and community agitator events in stating my opinion.

So what about ball caps, dark glasses, makeup, wigs etc? Should they be made illegal too?

There’s plenty more of reports with threatening gestures, peering in windows, etc. Simple google searches will show them. This has been going on for a couple of years.
Well, I suppose some people dislike creepy clowns more than those who frequent mosques.
My how times have changed. As kids we had Chucko the clown, Bozo, everyone loved it. In 2016 people run screaming in fear of anyone in a clown suit.
No. Just facemasks.
