When asked to explain why the father would shoot his own daughter, family members blamed a medical condition; they said Mansour is a diabetic. Yes, that’s it — diabetes. And not only did no one in the media question this, they actually deliberated whether the medical case could be made. That’s how sick, broken and subdued our fourth estate has become.
“Neighbors: Family ‘kept to themselves’ at home where police say dad shot his daughter”, FOX 19, By Denise Zarrella, Reporter, September 27th 2016: ROCKY RIVER, OH (WOIO) – A 63-year-old father is facing murder, felonious assault, and domestic violence charges after Rocky River police say he shot his daughter twice.
“We don’t have a solid motive other than an argument occurred between a father and his daughter,” said Lt. George Lichman with Rocky River Police.
Lichman says Tahani Mansour was one of six children. She lived at home with her parents and was the youngest child.
“We had the fire department respond and do an evaluation, it turns out (the father) was not under any medical care at the time of the incident and since he’s been in our jail,” Lichman said, when asked about his health.
The victim graduated from Rocky River High School, and went to Cleveland State. She had a doctor of pharmacy degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University. The university sent out a tweet mourning her death, saying counselors would be available on campus.
Jamal was arrested at the home on a felonious assault charge. He is now also charged with murder and domestic violence.
He is being held on $1 million bond.

Both are quick reads, as they were developed from serial news dispatches Churchill was making as a war correspondent. Both involve wars with Muslims in primitive conditions, and should have been required reading for the entire military and State Dept. post-9/11.

Don't know if that was tongue-in-cheek but one of the side effects of diabetes is the nerve damage and pain - and the drugs to try to help with it. Those drugs have histories of causing folks to go over the deep end (along with the long term pain). We had friends where the husband had been everywhere, including the Mayo clinic trying to get relief and was put on the drugs. About 6 months later, he shot and killed his beautiful 12 year old daughter, wife, then himself.
I believe the drugs have a lot to do with this type crap.
I wonder why people don’t fight back against this kind of crap?
If I got arrested and jailed for something like this, I guarantee I would hit back, either against the lawmakers who made the law, or the police who enforced it, or both.
Why is it that fighting and dying in battle against foreign enemies that threaten our freedom is considered honorable, but fighting and dying against domestic enemies that threaten our freedom is not?

I saw that. And she is a lesbian. Years ago I worked with gay guy, and he told me that after work he was going to a Palestinian protest. I told him I didn’t understand why he was with those people, as they would kill him if they could could for being gay. He actually thought about it and said in had a good point.

It’s Dis-honor killing. That man just dishonored his whole family, and the whole family ought to be deported.
