Representative Jim Joran (R-OH) is able to establish with FBI Director James Comey that top Hillary Clinton I.T. Aide was online using Reddit to attempt to cover up production of documents, email addresses and then later "covering up the cover up."
At least it’s on the record for that day someone with the balls will put the information to some good use.

I don’t think with the pendancy of the November election that the Congress is going to do anything! There will be time enough to start the “new wheels of justice” turning once Trump is President elect. In this instance, doing nothing is the preferred near-term courseof action. And besides, it’s a normal response from the GOPe so we don’t have to worry they will eff it up.
And Comey went on to say that as usual, the FBI was impotent to do anything, since they can’t find enough evidence on Hillary’s email deletions, or on terrorist tips either.

Oh, I think I lost that faith weeks ago. If PIAPS was not worthy of inditing nobody on Earth was. The FBI has proved it is a corrupt and partisan organization simply by the fact that there was not a mass resignation of 1000’s of agents over this. There is no rule of law in the US as a result of what Comey did only a rule of money and political party.
The FBI - the entire FBI - is discredited and corrupt. There is no other possible way to look at it. Any agent who is not corrupt should leave
I know Jim. He is THE best congressman in DC.
Maybe it’s time that Comey received about a million or two letters from us that let him know that we all know he has no honor.

AFAIK, DOJ did the immunity deals, not FBI.
Congress has the authority to arrest and imprison those found in Contempt. The power extends throughout the United States and is an inherent power (does not depend upon legislated act)
The power to punish contemnors is connected with their power to investigate.
The Supreme Court has recognized this power.

And what’s all this about “emotional” Comey at the hearings?

FBI Director James Comey has destroyed any trust I had in the FBI or any one that works there.
