Atmospheric oxygen levels have declined over the past 1 million years, although not nearly enough to trigger any major problems for life on Earth, a new study finds.

That does it, I’m hoarding!
Worthless reporting.
Remember, carbon dioxide is the breath of life for plants. It’s great stuff.
1. Generate more CO2 via massive industrialization. Focus on fossil fuels.
2. Watch the trees proliferate and grow.
3. Enjoy the oxygen that they breathe out.

OHHHHH! That explains why I get winded so quickly!
I thought it was me or something....
Expected as Man cleared growth for villages/towns/cities, etc. Then the deal about reforestation when grasslands actually produce more Oxygen....A million years goes from before any technology whatever to over 7 billion people and lots of technology. More interesting and relevant how much it has changed in the last 1000 years.....
Tracking oxygen over a million years.
There are no biases in that process.
Thought food for the imbecilic.
Looks like we need to crank up the C uh O2 generator to feed the plants. HEMI power.
Carbon dioxide is also the source for most of the oxygen we breath.
Earth's early pre historic atmosphere had little or no oxygen present.
Life on earth started as early forms of plant, bacteria and fungi that converted the large quantities of carbon dioxide then present in the atmosphere to the oxygen that we now breathe.
Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is vital to maintaining the oxygen levels of the air we breathe.
These findings also reveal what might be a strange contradiction, because it could be assumed that atmospheric carbon dioxide levels should rise as oxygen levels fall “for example, right now we are consuming oxygen and breathing out carbon dioxide,” said study senior author John Higgins, a geochemistat Princeton.
However, previous research has found that atmospheric carbon dioxide levels have not, on average, changed over the past 800,000 years,
Santa talks to an atmospheric expert...
This is what I think of now when folks present themselves as atmospheric experts.
Up until the industrial revolution, the level of carbon dioxide was also on a long slide. We were saved by capitalism , and the petroleum , coal, and cement industries.
You are so correct, Mega Maid is behind this !!
When I read this I was thinking this will be the next trial balloon for AGW. We’ll see, and I’d bet real soon.
Don't hold your breath.....
