Those who are satisfied with business as usual will say Hillary won.
Those who want higher taxes and bigger government will say Hillary.
Those who think the Iran Nuke deal is a good deal will say Hillary.
Those who think trade deals like NAFTA and TPP are great for America will say Hillary.
Those who think inner city blacks and minorities have been treated great by the democrats and their socialist policies will say Hillary.
Those who think Hillary will appoint great judges will say she won.
Those who think Hillary can securely safeguard our nation's classified information and will secure our borders and our nation will say she won.
Those who think we need a complete turnover and want to prevent our nation from spiraling down the drain know that Trump won and must win the coming election.
you’re right.
I’m a maniac who should be locked up the next two debate nights.
Do you have a link to the Luntz group?
You’re right bro.
You once said (dont remember, i’m sure) pray to get rid of the rage.
That’s what i’m doing.
A moderately read FReeper could have clobbered Hitlery.
bttt
I just voted at Time.com and Trump is ahead.
lol! i’m exhausted. can’t keep this kind of anger going as long as i could even 10 years ago :)
geez.
I HATE HER.
She “might” have dominated that room, or at least had parity in it.
But Donald isn’t falling for that “90 minutes is all I have to say something to America” crap.
Exactly what I would expect out of someone who is becoming more and more aware of “eternity set in his heart.”
Mark my words. Donald doesn’t have to sting like a bee in the debate; he only has to sound like honey outside of it.
Did Trump get too defensive at times, yes. Did he miss some opportunities, yes. But given that this was the first one-on-one presidential debate he ever participated in, I think he did just fine.
Every word you posted above, Mr. Robinson, is absolutely true. Those who were already in the tank for her or leaning toward her will like what they saw and heard. But people who are disposed to be fair to Trump heard and saw plenty to sway him to their side.
Tonight I went from just disliking her to genuinely hating her. Surely there are others who had a similar reaction to her viciousness. Before the debate most analysts were saying Trump couldn't "go over the line," but Clinton sure did. And so did that sorry excuse for a "moderator." By the way, how many times did Clinton throw out the signal to "fact check?" Three? Four? Holt definitely got the message.
Biggest lie of the whole show was Hilda claiming that the collapse in 08 was caused by trickle-down economics. It was caused by a combination of FANNIE, FREDDIE, and leftists making home ownership into a faux civil right and bankers developing a talent for wrapping those garbage loans up into securities and selling them to top customers calling them AAA-rated while shorting them at the same time.
George W. Bush and Dick Cheney tried to warn the American people about this in 04 and nobody listened, Barney Fwank and Chris Dodd were standing there shouting them down and calling them morons.
Missed opportunities:
DT could have said something about Hilda being carried off unconscious in a van recently and didn't.
DT could have said something about US warplanes being used as an ISIS air force over Syria recently and didn't.
DT could have said something about Vladimir Putin telling his military that if Hilda wins, they are at war....
MSM will say Hillary won.
We expect it as much as we expect rigged debates and faked polls from them.
Then again, the news would be fair - in an alternative universe.
Drudge poll is working again Freep that poll
I was too nervous to watch the debate, so I followed it on FR. Thanks for the forum, Jim.
Right on!
Trump underperformed.
1. On the cyberattacks, he should have brought up the e-mails, classified info, and the big checks from SA and China to Clinton foundation. The best way to prevent our enemies from getting classified info is to defeat Clinton.
2. On releasing his taxes, coming back with e-mails was ok , but what about releasing financials on the Clinton Foundation and Haiti charity? He could also have said that IRS is politically motivated and he would reform/eliminate.
3. On race, he should have said that he would bring back jobs. Talk about Detroit, jobs to Mexico, other things like school choice.
4. On ISIS, he should have pushed harder on the Benghazi fiasco and the arms shipments to Syria via Turkey.
5. As far as gun restriction for those on no-fly and terror watch lists, he should have said that with Herr Hilliary as president, all of the deplorables would be on the lists. These lists would become her enemies lists.
Clinton didn’t cough, swoon or faint. For the government media, that means she won.
The next two debates will make no difference.
Trump came into the first debate the front-runner and he has left it the front-runner.
Who cares what was said at debates? It will be forgotten by November.
Exactly. Ping
Where’s the Luntz info?
you’re right.
but i know who i’m voting for. Why take the chance with my heart. or the police :)
I told my husband she was laughing like a jackal and he said she always laughs and smiles when she lies.
It made me think of the time I played a Liars card game with my kids. I am a terrible liar so every time I would say I had a card when I didn’t I would burst into laughter it was hilarious and after a few minutes everyone knew I did not have the hand I said I did.
This was Hillary tonight such a liar although more convincing than I could ever be.
