Kim Kardashian came under major fire from both fans and non-fans alike this weekend when reports began surfacing that the reality star was considering voting for controversial Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. However, Kardashian quickly offered a response to the rumors and cleared the air on how she feels about Trump.
According to initial reports, Kardashian has been a loud and proud supporter of Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton for months. But when she spoke about the upcoming presidential election in a recent interview, Kardashian allegedly said that she was “on the fence” about voting for Trump.
“At first I thought, ‘Oh my God, I’m so Hillary [Clinton],’ but I had a long political call with Caitlyn/Bruce last night about why she’s voting Trump. I’m on the fence,” Kardashian allegedly said.
However, reports soon came flying in that the quote may be wrong or was taken out of context. Now, Kardashian has spoken up about the controversy and is explaining that she is not on the fence anymore.
“There was a point when I wasn’t 100 percent sure I was even going to vote in this election; I didn’t want to vote blindly,” Kardashian wrote on her website. “But I also thought about how not voting would mean that I wasn’t making my voice heard, so I decided to talk to my closest friends and family who I love and trust, to have an open conversation about politics.”
Kardashian then gave clarity to the rumors about her conversation with Jenner and she explained that her step-parent simply told her to do her own research about all of the candidates.
“I had a long conversation with Caitlyn/Bruce, who has always been open about her political views, and she encouraged me to do my research before making my decision and then vote for the candidate whose policies aligned with the things that matter most to me. And so that’s what I did. I thought about the things that are so important to me that they outweigh everything else, such as gun control and protecting women’s rights to safe and legal abortion,” Kardashian wrote.
In the end, the reality star reaffirmed her belief that Clinton is the best candidate.
“I found that without a doubt, I stand with Hillary. I’m with her. I believe Hillary will best represent our country and is the most qualified for the job. This year, I’m not just voting for myself, but also for my children, and I took that into careful consideration when I made my decision. Now that I have made my choice I want to be clear … I would never judge anyone based on their political or religious beliefs. I believe that both candidates have the intention of making the country a safer and stronger place for every American, they just have different ideas about how we get there,” Kardashian wrote.

In fact, they cannot believe that their side lies at all, even though they know they themselves lie to win an argument. However, in their minds that is not lying, it is doing what is necessary for the cause which is more important.

all this was about was creating the iloshin of tension on the show and getting viewers to tune in. IO don’t think she gives a dam about Hillary or trump its all about getting viewers for her reality show.

He thinks it’s their job to CALL AHEAD and find out, even though Kanye knows. He feels DEMEANED if they ask him to tell and don’t even THINK of asking Kanye to push the elevator floor button HIMSELF —he has FIRED people for that.

Based on the color of his hair, I’d say that photo of Trump with Kim was from before he was running. He’s been “color corrected” since the critics have been calling him the “orange man.”
So she votes according to 2 issues, gun control and abortion?! That’s astonishing.
Does she have any idea what is going on with Syria, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Ukraine, old Europe, new Europe, Brexit, the UN, poverty, war, unemployment, social security, health care... etc? Abortion (which is pretty safely enshrined in US law and culture anyway) overrides all those human stories?
Does anyone else notice among their lefty friends a false sense of security? Do they honestly have no knowledge of anything outside the boundaries of New York and Hollywood?
I'm not sure they qualify as thoughts.
... not to mention Armenia.
