ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST DEBATE BETWEEN
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Donald John Trump
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY
9 PM MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2016
The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
“From the get go we have been observing... ‘God’s Making of a President’.... right before our eyes.... and that is an unmistakable, amazing, and remarkable feat this man has managed to fulfill.....God’s not finished yet.....but when he arrives in Washington he will be exactly what this nation needs.”
Nice, that filled me with joy.
How many times will Lester allow Hillarys supporters to cheer?
“One and all...they are NOT happy about tonights debate!”
That’s a good sign. I’ll take it!
Hillary didn’t win either.
Thanks for that. Must have wired both candidates anticipating they might leave their perches. Her transmitter would have been most handy in a side or front pocket (but possible inside the coat, weird to "hide" it in back though), his clipped to his belt.
That’s a great pic. Needs a caption.
#NEW UPI/CVOTER Polls:
New Mexico:
Clinton 50% (+5)
Trump 45
#Nevada:
Clinton 47% (+1)
Trump 46
New Hampshire:
Clinton 48% (+1)
Trump 47
She did nothing for the male vote tonight. She showed every man on the planet why they would divorce her. Her superiority complex was on display.
The higher quality sound comes from the fixed microphones. I figure the lavaliers were provided as a contingency in case a candidate left the lecturn for some reason, sound would not be lost. The sound mixer guy can mute the lavalier so the sound to the audience isn't from two sources, and "turn up" the lavalier as needed.
And it’s backfiring on Hillary. Holt may want to hold off on getting his lifetime NY/DC Cocktail Circuit membership card just yet. More people are talking about his interfering with the debate than Hillary’s actual performance on places like Yahoo and MSN, which are hardly friendly to people like us. Lester, you made it more about you than Hillary.
I don’t think she was memorable. Yeah she was “polished” had the memorized stump speech but do any of you really even remember much of what she said even an hour or two later.
even better pic-— both Trump and Hillary have lapel mics. Does that solve the mystery?

If he can’t counter with the facts, he’s a fool. This election will be won by whoever convinces enough independents to vote for them.
If he lets her run all over him in the next two debates, be ready to say “President Hillary Clinton” in November.
Hellary again looks like she got some type of electronic device or wire. You can see it imprinting on her back as she bends over.

#4795 I haven’t seen bubba that Red since
Paula Jones attorney asked him about sex with Monica!
..You stated.....”Im not expecting a polished politician, but I am expecting someone who can point out that shes a liar, not trusted by a large majority of the people. I expect someone to not let her continue to lie and not be called on it.”......
Where have you been, really? There’s not a soul on this planet that isn’t aware she’s a liar or trusted.....even she knows that.
One of the things we all learn is to ‘curb our expectations’ when it comes to debates.....Hillary was called on plenty tonight and direct hits.....the ‘ONLY’ time the audience responded with cheers was when Trump nailed her on the e-mails....and he did that in one full swoop with very few words. I say this to make my point....that the even though in few words EVERYBODY knew exactly what he was talking about without going into any details whatsoever.....so e everybody knows as well she is a liar...and their repose ore than evidenced that.
Going in as he's gaining in the polls the most important thing Trump had to accomplish was not self destruct. Unless they can turn one of the very mild wisecracks into a scandal he's going to walk away from this one without a scratch.
What Trump failed to do is move. But that goes both ways. He didn't gain, but he didn't lose. And he had a lot to lose. It may be that Trump himself chose this strategy. He's the nominee because he has a gift for knowing the right play in most situations. I'm reminded of how he went easy on Ted Cruz in one of the debates where the moderators tried the old "let's you and him fight" trick. Trump just kept his cool and patted Ted on the back.
This wasn't as much fun as that, but then Hillary isn't much fun under the best of circumstances. Trump is playing it very cool. He was a lot harder on Jeb. I'd call the debate a draw, which if Trump is indeed the front runner means: Advantage Trump.
Portable lavaliers do indeed take a power box / transmitter. But she woul dot put that in the small of her back. She;d pocket it, and no wire would run down the middle of her back either, it would run from the microphone to the transmitter, in a side pocket or similar. The transmitter/battery packs have a spring clip too. I usually hang it on my belt.
LOLOL.....
“Newt said when Trump passed on hitting Hillary after she had just savaged him because he saw Chelsea in the audience was the most important moment of the debate.”
Worth repeating!
Unlike Hillary, the man has a soul.
