ON THE OCCASION OF THE FIRST DEBATE BETWEEN
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
Donald John Trump
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
HOFSTRA UNIVERSITY, HEMPSTEAD, NY
9 PM MONDAY SEPTEMBER 26, 2016
The 90 minute debate will be divided into six time segments of approximately 15 minutes each on major topics to be selected by the moderator and announced at least one week before the debate. The moderator will open each segment with a question, after which each candidate will have two minutes to respond. Candidates will then have an opportunity to respond to each other. The moderator will use the balance of the time in the segment for a deeper discussion of the topic.
You people have to stop thinking about what YOU want Trump to do and start thinking of this in context of an election that involved 10s of millions of voters who do not share your give us raw meat ripped from Hillarys hide mindset.
The momentum is all on Trumps side. Hillary needed a spectacular knock down and missed every punch despite Holts best efforts to prop her up.
Summary of the debate:
CLINTON — My father was a carpet dealer and that’s why I dress like I do. I will create a strong economy, look for a solar panel in the mail. I know you’ll be home because you’re unemployed, all our actual work is now done in Mexico. Don’t worry about ISIS, the master plan that Barry and I worked up has a phase two that is even better than phase one which some unfamiliar with nuance have called doing nothing. Also, I am fit. Fit, fit, fit. Is the ninety minutes up, I have to lie down for a month.
TRUMP: You see? you see. Oh vey. The things I could say, people, the things I could say.
You people have to stop thinking about what YOU want Trump to do and start thinking of this in context of an election that involved 10s of millions of voters who do not share your give us raw meat ripped from Hillarys hide mindset.

Another concern troll I’ve never seem before tonight.
A week from now what people will remember....
Hillary 30 failed years a politician with a smooth lying tongue.
Trump a businessman with common sense, gets results, says it like it is.
Hillary is very wiley and cagey. She's probably the hardest-working actress never to be nominated for an Oscar. The Academy may yet give her a lifetime achievement Oscar.

Hillary reminded people of slick politicians who all look and sound the same - they were turned off.
Trump didn’t give “perfect” answers but then he came across looking as human.
He wasn’t trying to be any one other than himself. It served him well tonight.
Very Well Said GOPster.
We can only look to Four Years ago with Mittens and Ubama for that pattern.
Where they were at in the polls and what happened after.
I'm surprised! Trump got some good shots in, but I was underwhelmed by his performance. Hillary came across as too smug and condescending. Overall, I found the debate a boring recitation of negative talking points, directed mainly by anti-Trump lame questions.
The Pence/Kaine debate will be more interesting, unless Kaine does the same with Hillary's anti-Trump BS talking points. Probably will.
Too many folks here and elsewhere fell for the Clinton rope a dope. Yes she really passed out on 9/11, but with the right meds and handling that can be controlled. Too many were counting on her faceplant into the stage,. If I had a buck for every post that said she was tired, doped up, ready to fall over I could buy dinner at Peter Luger. Holt was biased but Trump should have been ready. For a guy who went into meetings with competitors, municipal officials,TV presidents, labor union bosses he seemed not so much unprepared as unready for the process of the debate. She was scripted but recited her script readily, and unfairly, but effectively, hit him on his family. His true believers wont be swayed an inch and neither will hers, but the middle ground might be influenced a bit more to her than Trump. He has work to do but I think his business experiences and his manner will make it hard to change.
It’s very puzzling to me.
The film taken on 9/11 was such good quality, and it was very still as if on a tripod. Yet Hillary’s people had gotten rid of all the reporters. So a man on the street was not a professional camera man. How could he make such a high quality film of her? But it was real to me and I thought she was very sick. But there was not evidence of that tonight. So I’m thinking her folks made her look sickly so that Trump would be over confident.
Hi, troll. Never heard of you before.
Try shoving it
“Another name Ive never seen.........”
-—Never seen yours either so you must not have been around that long
Anyone who watched all of that has already made up their mind. I’m interested to see the ratings as it wore on. People who think Trump lost keep talking about policy. Same mistake has been made for over a year. This election isn’t about policy.
He is probably getting messed with from the dark side. Drudge is as despised for his in-your-face support for TRUMP.
You do know there is a price for that.
Within 48 hours most people have forgotten almost every bit of substance in a presidential debate. The only thing that matters is how the viewers perceive the candidates.
This is why people remember sound bites for decades after a presidential debate. Think of Reagan's "There you go again!" jibe at Jimmy Carter. Within a week of that debate everyone remembered the line, but nobody remembered what the hell Carter even said that precipitated that response.
