(CNN) -- A man carrying a rifle entered a Macy's store at a mall in Washington state, shot dead four women and a man, and vanished into the night, police said.
Authorities believe only one person fired the shots Friday night at Cascade Mall in Burlington, about an hour north of Seattle. A search is underway for an armed man who headed toward Interstate 5 after the attack, said Sgt. Mark Francis, a spokesman for the Washington State Patrol.

1. The killer was still at large.
2. There wasn't a lot of urgency about finding him. They even sent the police helicopter back to its base instead of using it to search for the perp.
This suggested to me that this was a targeted killing, and that the perp wasn't a threat after this incident. The report that they found and secured a gun at (or near) the scene may have reinforced this.

He actually entered the mall empty handed. There are pictures once he was in the mall carrying a long gun. You can see a shoulder strap and what looks to be a wooden stock. Can’t tell if there is an extended box magazine or even if it’s a semi auto or not. First reports suggest it was a domestic situation but the media will censor the truth as best it can so little, if anything, can be believed coming from the MSM.

He entered twice, possibly once without the gun.

I just read the story from a local news outfit that said he entered once and came back about ten minutes later with a rifle.
There should be substantially more photos that can be released if they are trying to ID this guy.
It is not politically correct to say Middle Eastern. So the first Mexican they come across bad day has just got worse. Because they will pin it on him.
That was exactly what I thought based on the image they released. I know an Iranian guy who looks like Pancho Villa when he grows a mustache. If they’ve got a clear enough image to say “this guy’s hispanic” then someone will ID him soon.

it was listed as such in a different article, that and the fact they aren't screaming from on high SEMI-AUTO ASSAULT RIFLE makes me believe it's true
