My daughter has a friend who went to vote in Chicago a few years ago and the person remarked it was nice to see her because her mother voted a couple of hours ago. Her mother was dead.

I was wondering the same thing. My brother died 2 years ago & the Board of Elections still sends him mailings. Very depressing.

Call the elections commission and ask. I would do so ASAP and report what they tell you to the Trump campaign.

Some states have a searchable online voter database. A little creepy from a privacy standpoint, but useful for questions like this.

Here in Wisconsin, you can search using the person's name and birthdate. I used it to make sure that my late grandparents aren't still voting. The website is here: https://myvote.wi.gov/en-us/MyVoterInfo

Go to the county election commission office where they lived and ask to see the records of who voted in the last election. It’s public record.

It is my understanding that notification of death is supposed to go to the Social Security Administration and from there update voter roles. When my mom died I sent a certified letter to not only SSA but also to the State of Missouri and her precinct in Missouri asking to have her removed. They did confirm in writing that they did so. Doubt if most people even take these minimal steps when a family member dies.
