I was wondering the same thing. My brother died 2 years ago & the Board of Elections still sends him mailings. Very depressing.

For years, my recently deceased aunt went to vote (in NYC) early in the morning. She’d go, she’d sign in, vote, and head to work. But when she retired, she went to the polling place much later in the day. Imagine her surprise to see that her late father (my grandfather) had also voted that day. He had been dead since 1951. She reported it, but every year, there he was. When her mother (my Nana) died, she too stayed on the rolls. The Board of Elections was told every single year for more than a decade, but nothing happened. And now that she’s gone, too, I can’t help but wonder who will be signing HER name this year.

Regards,
