Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump will stand behind lecterns for the first debate on Monday at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, the Commission on Presidential Debates confirms.
The commission told Breitbart News on Thursday that the first debate will require both candidates to stand. The second, to be held Oct. 9 at Washington University in St. Louis, will be in a town hall format, meaning that candidates may stand when it is their turn to speak, and sit when they are done. (In 2012, the second debate, also in town hall format, featured some infamous exchanges where both Gov. Mitt Romney and President Barack Obama were standing and arguing with each other).

“U.K. bookmaker William Hill is now offering 5-to-1 odds that Hillary Clinton bails on the U.S. presidential election.”
Wow. Five to one odds, eh? If I read that right, he figures there’s a one in five chance she’ll drop out.
Sounds about right.
I can’t. I just can’t. And I am a Viking, too. That was just so ( gotta go vomit)
That's exactly right. He wasn't the best politician on the stage, he didn't know the issues better than anyone else, and he probably said a lot of things that the audience knew was B.S.
But he showed a tremendous gift for making the other successful, intelligent adults on the stage look like complete morons ... without coming across like an A-hole himself.
No, he’s not big enough to do that.
Lol! She’d be a Cat on a Hot Tin Roof!
“You remember the end of Tombstone? When Doc Holliday kills Ringo, and says to Wyatt Earp, “Oh, I wasn’t quite as sick as I made out...””
Yeah, but just before he said that he said this:
“You’re no Daisy, you’re no Daisy at’all. ... “I guess the pressure was more than he could bear.” .”
The strain.
I guess the strain was more than he could bear.
Noticed a similar thing at the press conference at the airport 2 days ago. The airport scene and the noise of the engines seemed to be a movie backdrop. The press were her handpicked group who asked a few easy questions. She walked off like on a movie set, not to her plane. Very controlled set. But that was Ms. Clinton, definitely. There are good days and bad days with chronic illnesses. I still say she’ll do fine because she’s a pro and the set will be controlled enough to keep her symptoms at bay.
50 minutes. Long commercial break... “Technical issues”.
Hillary will be sleeping. Her body double will respond via teleprompter like a good puppet.
So, if she passes out, does she lose the debate?
hahaha, perfect! Thanks!
“ME! partially erotica and partially hallucinatory.
Correct. We hope they checked for splinters before applying applying the broomsticks.
I learned that from a book called “Napoleon’s Buttons” which discusses a dozen or so chemicals that have had a major effect on our lives. Look it up on Amazon. Most of the reviews are near 5 stars.
She can not leave the podium, there will be no breaks, and if she starts coughing for 4 minutes at a time, the debate must continue, with no delay.
