Scientists to Trump: Human-caused climate change is real and dont mess with the hard-won Paris Agreement.
Thats the message of a new letter co-drafted by a prominent Bay Area climate scientist and signed by 375 members of the prestigious National Academy of Sciences, including famed physicist Stephen Hawking, biologist E.O. Wilson and 30 Nobel Prize winners.

Bingo! We have a winner.
Before 1572, well-educated Europeans believed in astrology, alchemy, unicorns, etc. By 1704, they believed none of those things. This is according to The Invention of Science by David Wootton.
Yes, climate change is real.
Its getting colder. Time to dig for more coal.
Climate change is as real of a bureaucracy as the fed. Its proof at its root is is mostly made up stories and questionable research. It is real in sense that the UN is using it to collect monies and to help organize a world government.
You hit the nail on the head! Follow the money.
How many more years are they going to prop up this poor sick man and claim that he is smarter than all of us.
We can build a Wall and help with childcare when these bozos lose their funds and the EPA is abolished.
OK, here we go again. “Climate change is real”. No sh**, Sherlock. The climate has constantly been changing since the origin of the earth. The question is to what extent human activity is causing a change, and how significant any effect may be. Also, where is it written that a bit of warming is necessarily an apocalyptic event? Could it not be the case that some warming might increase the amount of arable lands and allow for more food production?
Trump should just respond saying “ Yes there is climate change, just like there has been for millions of years.”
Debate question, “Is it true that you dont care if global flooding death and misery happen due to the FACT of global warming?”
Yes, it changes every year.
Democrats are not sane humans, though. They remind me of Spanish Inquisitors (They want to burn opponents at the stake for heresy.)
Human caused my a$$.
How do these eggheads explain the Medieval warming period in the 1400’s, when the Earth became warmer than today and the ice cap melted at the North Pole?
Eventually, the Earth cooled again.
Climate patterns have always been in flux since the dawn of time.
“Climate change” = an excuse for huge carbon taxes to line the pockets of the fat cats and it’s also an excuse for “global government” to consolidate the power of the globalist elites who think they are our betters.
Not buying it.
Wouldn’t it be funny if under a Trump regime all of a sudden grants began to be offered for evidence that AGW isn’t all it was cracked up to be?
Suddenly a lot of them will see the light (as in light green).
Think Trump should accept global warming and say that grant money is no longer needed there and those funds will go to building inner city charter schools.
That’s also evasive terminology on their part. AGW, to any extent that anything humanity could try to do to literally stop it or even greatly moderate it, is unproven.
One possibility though still disappointing compared to declaring it not proven to be an issue other than as a panic raiser.
Not part of the Paris Agreement (and not legally binding)[42] is a plan to provide US$100 billion a year in aid to developing countries for implementing new procedures to minimize climate change with additional amounts to be provided in subsequent years.[43]
In early March 2016, the Obama administration gave a $500 million grant to the “Green Climate Fund” as “the first chunk of a $3 billion commitment made at the Paris climate talks.” [44][45]
Of course it's real. It's what used to be called Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.
What's NOT real is "scientific consensus". The scientific method allows for theories to be tested and proved.
Translation: Don’t touch our feed trough!
Exactly.
I like to ask climate change fanatics this question: If we start experiencing global cooling instead of global warming, would you advice everyone to burn as much fossil fuel as possible?
It is interesting to watch their reaction.
