I don’t know anything about Muslim or Afghani names, but as soon as I heard that, I was wondering if he was related in any way to the Khan from the Orlando nightclub. Khan may be as widely used as “Smith” is to the English for all I know. I guess he sometimes uses another last name, too. Perhaps cousins or distant cousins (maybe I’m stretching on this)?
I was in Wilmington, NC some years ago. It is a very pretty state as is SC.

BTW - for those that haven’t seen it, F&F was talking earlier about Hillary on the plane yesterday. FR had pictures of her looking “tired” some commented she looked like she had just gotten out of bed. F&F said that the tweet started yesterday was #zombiehillary.
Hillary is supposed to give a rally in Philly today, it will be interesting to see the attendance.

Another thread says that the venue holds 700, and that all the tickets have been issued. Let’s see how many actually show up. Notice how almost all of her events are at schools? Do the students attending her events get extra credit? I’d like to see her try to fill an arena of 5, 10 or 15,000. Continuing to have tiny events of a few hundred here and there this late in the game can’t be a comforting sign for her. Usually, candidates at this time are drawing at least a couple thousand to every rally. In 2012, Romney’s biggest event thru mid-October was 14,000, and even 0bama’s crowds weren’t that impressive in 2012, but were far greater than what Clinton continues to get now.
Recent terrror attacks this past weekend has given, and I MEAN GIVEN the WHITE HOUSE to Mr. Donald J. Trump.
I don't know the exact 20 minute time slot she is scheduled to speak. It is billed as an "organizing event."
Where is Obama? Josh Earnst on CNN gave a lame interview. was asked about Obama's strange "Vote for Hillary for my legacy, or I will be personally insulted."

In the office now. I’m on Lexington Avenue a few blocks north of Grand Central and the streets were full of police cars. Almost total gridlock here. The UN Assembly is just a few blocks to my east and all the dignitaries/ambassadors from all over the world are in town. Several motorcades leaving the Waldorf-Astoria. One of them was almost Trump-sized! I wonder if Trump himself will make an appearance before heading to Florida later today.
I might go back to Grand Central and take a video later but had to get to the office quick for a meeting. Definitely some stepped up security there but nothing too crazy. About a dozen miltary people in fatigues, some K-9 dogs sniffing things out.
Just before heading into the Harlem tunnel, we got an emergency alert over our cellphones about the manhunt for Ahmad Khan Rahami. It was a little surreal. All of a sudden the train was filled with the EBS tone but it wasn’t over the loudspeaker. It was everybody’s cellphone going off at the same time.

Well it’s still Sept and I did notice one rally for PA this week. Frankly don’t know what his strategy is and maybe that’s a brilliant move.

Still having blue screen level problems with the puter. It is about 6 years old and not worth a trip to the doc. Just ordered a ASUS Chromebook. Should be able to do what I want with Google drive and related software....
