The Reuters polling of the nation as of Thursday shows “high confidence” in a win by Republican candidate Donald Trump in Vermont.

Reuters did not give a margin for Trump’s victory but instead said it has “high confidence” in a GOP win. According to their polling standards, “a state is reported as ‘high confidence’ for a candidate if they win 95 percent or more of the simulated elections.”

Look at California, you take away San Francisco and Los Angeles County and you pretty much have a Conservative state

>>... unless the fainting incident had more of an effect than I thought.<<

I think the fainting incident had a huge effect, especially since it occurred on 9/11. People tie that sort of thing together, plus it looked like a lot more than “fainting” and a hell of a lot more than pneumonia.

Even the libs are wondering this time.

Isn’t that a distinction without a difference?

I see similar happening here in VA, breaks my heart. We are overloaded with folks who come for govt jobs (only growing segment of the economy for how long now?) and kids who come to VA universities, then register and vote and eventually move here.

I’m reminded again of the old adage: “Victory has a thousand fathers. Defeat is an orphan.”

Trump is the strong horse and he has the mo’. Hillary is in the rear view mirror.

Care to guess who is the orphan?

True...but that’s true of most blue states. The major liberal mentally ill cities poison the whole state.

Va. may too far south of the Mason-Dixon to appreciate the distinction.

If The Donald wins VT, this will be a very, very short election night.

Yes and no. There’s not a chance he takes DC but I thought I read he’s been polling a lot better there than McRomney.

How does MA look?

Let me guess - you haven’t seen a single Hillary sign in your Blue State.

“This has to be The Onion right? Trump can win in November but Vermont, the Socialist state of Vermont? I’ll eat my shoe if Trump wins Vermont, heck I’ll eat my sock if he loses by 5 in Vermont.”

Spot on.

They say Hillary still has a 60% chance of winning.

They hedging their bets - they have a tab showing Trump would win if liberal voters stay home - its 95% chance for The Donald.

I have seen perhaps ten. They are so rare that one takes notice of a Hillary or Clinton/Kaine sign.

I've also seen a "Hillary for Prison 2016" sign too. That always makes me smile.

I’ve seen 3 Hitlery lawn signs and about the same number of bumper stickers. I see many more Bernie stickers than Hitlery ones.

Definitely more Trump stickers than Hitlery stickers.

I live next to the “ground zero” of uber-liberal MA cities, which makes the above even more encouraging.

Obama won VT by 35%. This is an unprecedented swing if true, and if it holds up.

“I’ll eat my shoe if Trump wins Vermont”

He will win Maine, NH and Vermont easily. It would take too long to explain it, but the right-left thing is kind of over.
